Convenient location, clean, and safe
The fact that I was able to check in 3 hours early for free since a room was available. The hopjes with the coffee. 24/7 reception. Daily cleaning was very thorough and restocked everything I used. Ideal location in quiet neighborhood area but super close to everything!
Area for growth is that the cleaning staff was making lots of noise on 3rd floor as of 9am both days I was there.

Nice hotel
Classic hotel in a nice , centrally located neighborhood. Exterior looks very well cared for. The room “residence” on the third floor was in very good condition with thick carpet, a seating area and a large bed. Nespresso coffee , an ironing board and iron and a minibar complete the equipment. The bathroom was quite new with a spacious walk-in shower and plenty of storage space.
The room with a slightly sloping ceiling and small windows was equipped with a centrally located skylight that unfortunately did not darken sufficiently. So from dawn this gave a lot of light in the bedroom. The duvet was very heavy and thick for summer.
And the wall of the bathroom was made of glass so that when you turned on the lights you also had light in the bedroom. Not always handy.
So a few points of improvement in this otherwise very pleasant hotel.

Tegelijkertijd vinden wij het jammer om te lezen dat u ook enkele ongemakken heeft ervaren. Onze excuses dat het dakraam onvoldoende verduisterde en dat het zomerdekbed voor u te warm aanvoelde. Wij begrijpen dat dit ten koste kan gaan van uw comfort.
Mocht u ons in de toekomst opnieuw bezoeken, dan nodigen wij u van harte uit om eventuele wensen of ongemakken direct tijdens uw verblijf met onze receptie te bespreken. Wij zijn 24 uur per dag bereikbaar en denken graag met u mee om, waar mogelijk, direct een passende oplossing te vinden, bijvoorbeeld door een lichter dekbed aan te bieden.

The best hotel experience
We are incredibly grateful for the amazing welcome and hospitality! The lovely girl who checked us in was absolutely wonderful! Kind, cheerful, professional, and genuinely attentive.
This is without a doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Everything feels warm, cozy, and welcoming, with an extraordinarily pleasant atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean and equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need and even more. You can truly feel the love, care, and attention to detail in every aspect.
The breakfast was exceptionally delicious! Additionally, any questions or requests are handled effortlessly just by speaking with the team every single staff member is friendly, open-hearted, and always ready to help.
A special thank you to the gentleman on the night shift who helped us in the middle of the night when I desperately needed green tea at 4 a.m. :) Thank you for your kindness and for making this the best birthday experience ever! 11/10 rating!

I would not book again.
Bad service on the terrace... in the room, the wallpaper is almost falling off the wall, and at breakfast, the omelet tasted totally artificial.... Packaged mass... but no real fresh eggs.

The Carlton Ambassador hotel was amazing! Very charming with wonderful staff & excellent service. I will definitely be back & I highly recommend it to others!! It’s also very conveniently located to the public transportation in the area.
