Great experience

Lovely hotel clean and friendly staff, lovely pool which was welcome, good choice at breakfast. You can check in at 12 but won’t be able to get your room until 3pm.

Clean rooms but ......

Rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is standard with the caveat that the orange juice comes in a carton and the milk is not fresh but long-life.
Payment with credit card not possible, they pretend it is, but then the card reader suddenly doesn't work with the suggestion that your card is not good! Oh yes, there are also no instructions on how the TV works!

Beste gast,
Fijn om te horen dat u de kamer als schoon heeft ervaren. Jammer dat andere aspecten van uw verblijf minder aan uw verwachtingen voldeden.
Betalen met een creditcard is bij ons wel degelijk mogelijk en wordt regelmatig door onze gasten gedaan. Helaas werd uw kaart op dat moment niet door het betaalapparaat geaccepteerd. Onze excuses voor het ongemak.
Ook hebben wij uitleg gegeven over de bediening van de televisie. Het spijt ons dat deze uitleg niet duidelijk genoeg is geweest. Uiteraard hadden wij u graag verder geholpen als u dit tijdens uw verblijf bij ons had aangegeven. Bedankt voor uw feedback.

This year, for the first time, everything reserved through the Hotel Walram's own site and everything was perfectly arranged

Wat fijn om te lezen dat u heeft genoten van uw verblijf. Geweldig dat u ons binnenzwembad, de ruime kamers en het uitgebreide ontbijt met onder andere verse pannenkoeken, fruit en eitjes zo heeft gewaardeerd.

Nice hotel in a lovely town

Very nice hotel in a lovely town. Room was compact but comfortable with a fan supplied to counteract the extreme heat encountered. Staff very friendly and efficient. Good choice of food at breakfast but coffee could be better. Evening meal varied however, limited amount of salad to compliment the main meal. Chicken and pork cooked nicely but plaice in breadcrumbs left a lot to be desired. Dessert limited to cake and a dollop of imitation cream out of a can. As we don't drink cannot comment on the choice of booze offered but fellow guests seemed to enjoy it. Last day breakfast was served in bags due to the 6am start to our journey home with Shearings

Lovely town, excellent hotel, fabulous staff

This is a lovely well managed hotel with a great atmosphere. Rooms are quite compact but comfortable and the food offerings excellent and fresh.
The best thing about the Walram is the great atmosphere with lots of areas to socialise.
Best of all are the staff who are some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered.
Highly recommended
