Beautiful renewed family room

We slept in the newly renovated family room. Looked fine and the beds were lovely. Convenient that there were 2 showers and toilets.
It was hot so it was nice to open a window but then you hear the sound of the street very much. But that also makes sense when you're in the middle of it.

Unfriendly manager

Family room with friends
Very cold and very noisy, with six of us a much too small shower and toilet in 1. Very poorly insulated, it felt like you were lying on the street, it was so noisy. Windows do not close properly.
Bar across the street went on with loud music until 3am.
It was messy everywhere, downstairs it was not possible to use the door on the terrace, you had to go behind the bar through the restaurant to get outside.
Manager would be better off looking for a position elsewhere, not suitable at all...
All in all not recommended, we made the best of it, but fun is different.
Made a reservation for a restaurant to eat at 9:00 PM, there was no other option, we had to wait an hour before we could be seated, and we couldn't get a drink either... had quite a discussion with the manager, what a rude rake!
Location is good, in the middle of Valkenburg, the restaurant food is delicious, but the treatment of us as customers is extremely poor!! So you have been warned!

Here for Eroica Limburg

We had rooms 2,4 and 5 for the Eroica weekend and none of us had a bad word to say, Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and very clean, with very comfortable beds. We also were tempted into the restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. Perfect location for what we wanted.

Homely hotel

What a lovely friendly place to stay very clean just very busy on check in as it is a restaurant as well does what it says on the box excellent location for the Xmas markets can't fault the place only thing if you drive you have to stay on the Waldron car park and pay twice a day at 8 euro each time otherwise fantastic

Nice room but noisy

The hotel is located above a restaurant. It was extremely busy during check-in and servers were rushing around us.The hotel did not receive our online booking but we were lucky enough that there were rooms available. We got the room facing the restaurant front - beautiful view!
Rooms were noisy whether it is at the front or back of the hotel. Alot of footstep thumping and daily goings can be heard. If you are a light sleeper, you may not get a full proper sleep. Room was slightly musty and wifi was non existent. Breakfast was simple but adequate and filling.
If you are having dinner at the restaurant during winter, please request tables further in the restaurant. Also, we peeped in room #5 during housekeeping and noted that it was spacious and much nicer. See if you can opt for that too!
