Good hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff

I come here all the time. I prefer to stay in the Junior Suite with bath and balcony. The rooms are clean, good mattress, well-filled pillows.I enjoyed again from the balcony (puzzle, wine, people and many bird watching, bat and even an owl flying by). Delicious breakfast with another glass of bubbles. The conviviality of the friendly staff completes the stay at this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful and there are many varied walking routes to walk. Next to the hotel are many nice restaurants where you can eat good food. In short, I love coming back again.

Great location

Couldn’t have a better location, just around the corner from all the great restaurants and bars. The reception lady was delightful.
We were told our apartment was up 2 flights of stairs but not that its a spiral wooden staircase. I have some mobility problems and it would have been impossible for me to climb the stairs with my suitcase. There was no one at the hotel who could help, luckily my friend is younger and fitter than me just managed to do it.
We were also told our room had a balcony but that turned out to be a step on the fire escape!
The apartment was very small with no storage however the bathroom was lovely and clean.

Location top, hotel moderate

-Karig breakfast buffet which is not covered
-On request you could have the room cleaned, however they did not do this only the towels were changed
-Room is spacious, junior suite, however it runs a bit down and the beds were a bit disappointing
-Balcony wasn't clean
-Asked in advance due to severe allergy if the hotel was animal free, however we saw at check out that one of the staff had picked up the dog
-Of course also positive points: the location is perfect and the staff very friendly!
We wouldn't go there a second time.

Fantastic location, very nice hotel

Fantastic location! The modern, beautifully renovated and also super clean hotel Botterweck deserves more stars than they have been given by ANWB. Everyone at the service is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also just good, without exaggerating. The hotel is quiet but really around the corner from everything that makes Valkenburg fun. Highly recommended for when you visit this beautiful place again. We love to come back again.

Nice appartment, bad staircase it was too steep. Good breakfast. Problem with parking.
