Appalling staff treatment, horrible experience overall
The dorm room was unbearably hot, despite the cool weather outside. When we asked for a fan or any alternative solution, staff were dismissive, rude, hostile, and unhelpful.
The heat became so unbearable that guests were leaving the door wedged open for ventilation, creating a serious security concern by preventing the key-card access system from functioning properly.
We were also told that no other guests had complained about the heat, yet multiple guests later confirmed to us that they had raised the same issue multiple times.
Overall, we felt unfairly treated throughout our stay. The combination of poor customer service, misleading information, uncomfortable conditions, and security concerns made this one of the worst hostel experiences we have had.
Do not book here.

Scam
I booked this hostel for 3 of us for 4 nights through booking.com , they held £65.00 on my credit card ..I contacted them on the day of my arrival to ask if they had early check in which they didn’t but stated I could leave my bags there until check in (no mention of a issue with my booking ) upon arrival they said my room had been cancelled and when I explained it hadn’t and showed it was still confirmed on my booking they then said ow it’s an issue with your credit card again I told them it wast as the room was to be paid upon arrival and the credit card hold was only for a no show but they had put a hold on that anyway they finally said they had booked out our room but we could come back the next day (with £25 extra added on to each night than we had originally been quoted )
We refused ,upon arriving home they have taken the £65 as a no show and aren’t answering any of my emails so I have reported it to my bank , so basically they hook your stay ,put a hold on your credit card then sell your room and charge you for a no show
