A price trap, a dice throw.

It is alright. It has breakfast and free towels (sometimes). Bathrooms and showers in your room.
It is not a youth hostel, it is a regular hostel. Had some random guy strip naked in my room as soon as I turned my back. Then the light stayed on for about 2 hours until 12am.
Plays in the weekend pricing trap. I was supposed to have €32 room, but the website was not loading, so I went to book in person. With 10.50 breakfast, 2 nights, I got…€136!

Absolutely amazing, the staff was amazing, location was so good about 30 minutes walk to centre and it’s near the zoo. Loved every minute of it. Will 100% be back

Staff were nice and friendly, shout out to the boy who worked late on reception, he was a great laugh.

New to Amsterdam, visiting as a family.

What a gem! This hostel was perfect for us, a family of 5x. We booked a 6-person room with own bathroom and it was just the right thing for us. Clean, with 4x bunk beds and an upstairs bed for the parents, we had all that we needed. The breakfast buffet was great, the coffees good, the reception was always staffed, the beers from the tap were plentiful and the dinner menu (for those wanting not to go out but have some pub style food) was extensive. The staff were very helpful and the entire experience was very positive. Lots of other families around. Can only recommend this place to those travelling as family, using the hostel as a place to explore the city from and return in the evening for some much needed family time.
