We stayed here with a friend for two nights. The area in overall was very quiet with couple of restaurants and grocery store nearby. The hotel staff were really nice and helpful. The room we had was quite small, but that was expected, with shower and toilet. The hotel and the room were clean too.

Nice Hotel, no lift though, and being on the 4th floor, the stairs are very steep and tight.

Hell nah

This place must be the worst place in Amsterdam. My mates dad booked it for us and I’m sure to this day that it was a set up. When we eventually found it we met this guy at reception. I don’t think he had ever been in a hotel before let alone worked in one. He ended up calling this guy who was knocking down a wall in the hotel to come and help us (turns out he was the boss) he took us all the way to the top floor whilst I had to belay up my mate as the stairs were so steep. Luckily, we didn’t run out of rope. When we arrived at our room which was on the top floor we realized it had no bathroom, no bedding, a broken tv, a giant window that would not shut and the most sketchy walk in cupboard that led in to another crazy strange room like something from a book about Anne frank. All the hall ways had holes in the walls from where customers had tried to punch their way out. First thing in the morning I convinced my mate enough was enough and that we had to leave. It’s crazy how bad this place. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Near everything. A good value. Like a lot of Dutch properties, be prepared for narrow stairs!

This hotel was not very clean. Room had mold on the ceiling. The shower didn’t drain and it over flowed onto the bathroom floor. Hotel was one of the cheaper ones in Amsterdam, but I would still consider very poor quality for the price. As it was still over $300 a night. The staff was very lovely and helpful.
