A quiet place on a canal side

Hapimag Amsterdam is only a few minutes walk from the central station . Inside, it is quiet, very comfortable and the epitom of the Hapimag experience. The room was large, clean and well furnished.
It is better when exploring to go across the canal rather than into the tourist trap streets to the rear of the Hapimag. Although there is one good patissier not far all the restaurants are very pricely and very bad value for that money with small portions and the quality horrendous in most cases. All of Amsterdam is of course tourist-orientated but there are better alternatives that the nearby streets.
One is better to ask the Hapimag staff for recomendations of take a tram to better parts of the city.

Very well located, but...

The old building is slightly in need of repair in some areas, but otherwise good. The location is, as always, great, near the train station.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful facility

The Hapimag facility is very well located: just 10 minutes from the main train station. Many attractions are within walking distance. We had a very nice (Superior) room with a view of the canal. It was nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. It was also pleasant that the heating was on during the cold temperatures. The staff were very friendly and could answer all questions. We felt extremely comfortable here and would come back anytime.

Resort in a central and beautiful location.

Staying in the canal house in a central and beautiful location. The apartment is beautifully furnished, and you have everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great location near the train station and quick access to the city center.

We booked an apartment on short notice, but only a budget apartment was available. Well, it was okay for 2 days or nights. The apartment is located in the attic and was very cramped. Several thick beams ran through the room, one even in the bathroom; you had to be careful not to bump your head repeatedly. But Hapimag made the best of what was possible in this spatial situation. There were few power outlets, only one by the bed, and no dishwasher. Visually, it looked very cozy, was also clean, and the staff was very friendly. We were practically only there to sleep, so it was okay. In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach the train station or the beginning of the city center. You can order breakfast rolls, and there is also an honesty bar available. Only about 200 meters away, there is the Heijn supermarket, where you can buy all the essentials.

Es freut uns, dass Sie trotz der Last-Minute-Buchung einen angenehmen Aufenthalt hatten.
Es stimmt, dass unsere Dachgeschosswohnungen aufgrund der authentischen Dachbalken eine gewisse Eigenart haben; das verleiht dem Raum viel Charakter, allerdings müssen größere Gäste tatsächlich manchmal etwas aufpassen!
Was Ihre Anmerkung zur Küche betrifft: In unseren Studio-Apartments gibt es leider keine Geschirrspüler.
Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich trotzdem wohlgefühlt haben, und hoffen, Sie in Zukunft wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.
