The nice idea but it remains only an idea.

A bad experience.
Our room on the boat was the only one located in the galley, smell of antique, musty and humidity.
The lights did not work and the portholes did not close (there was rain and a bed almost completely wet).
The cleanliness is bad to say the least, they probably did not clean after the previous guest's check out: dubious stains on the sheets and wipes, dust everywhere, spiders insects and lots of cobwebs, black hair on the floor and beds.
The shower had a broken siphon.
The boat door difficult to open and close and not safe at all.
We pointed out the problems to the owner who "remedied" by putting a "clean" sheet and leaving us a bottle of prosecco.
Never again.
Sorry because the idea is nice but it remains only an idea unfortunately.

Way too expensive for a dirty, poorly maintained boat. Terrible smell and poor communication. Very nice place!

Very expensive for a dirty boat. We paid over €621 for 2 nights on the boat UK85.
DO NOT BOOK THIS BOAT!
SMELL
First of all, it smells terribly like Diesel, which they try to cover up with an artificial strawberry perfume. You think you'll get used to it, but you don't!
Even more annoying is that this stench gets into all your belongings. Even the clothes you didn't wear, your suitcases, toiletry bag and my leather jacket still smelled of this stinking smell for weeks afterwards.
FILTHY AND UGLY RENOVATED
Furthermore, the boat was poorly renovated.
Sharp metal pieces protrude from the wall. Caked-on mess, dirt that seems to have been there for decades, toothpaste residue from previous guests, a strange sticky stain on the counter where a cardboard package of our food got stuck to.
But the bathroom is also nothing to look at. But also, for example, the nice plants and armchairs that are in the show photos have disappeared and have been replaced by cheap metal stools.
DARK AND NO WATER VIEW
You cannot look out over the water from inside. It really is a hole you are in. You also always have to turn on the lights and look for the light switches. A light didn't work. So it is a dark boat, except during daylight in the bedrooms, where there is a skylight that you cannot dim. So you are woken up in the morning by sunlight.
The beds are narrow and short. (Bedding was clean)
There are 2 chairs on deck (not really cozy for a 4 person boat), the lights are broken. You also don't get breakfast, drinks or anything, which would have been nice for this money.
NO RESPONSE TO MESSAGES
I sent 2 messages via booking com, but received no response. I also mentioned upon departure that we really liked the concept but were quite disappointed that it was also so dirty. I had also previously reported the broken lighting. When I got home I was even more unpleasantly surprised by the stench and I sent an extensive email including photos. I explicitly sent another email asking if they could respond. No reaction! That's bad.
POSITIVE POINTS
Nice concept, De Ceuvel next door is a nice place, being on the water is nice, the welcome was warm, parking was possible.

We didnt get what we expected from the advertising pictures.

The extraordinary hotel is a good idea and the pictures that the company is advertising with are promising far more than you get for your money. The ship what we booked was broke they said to us when we arrived so we had to take another one which was more nice in their opinion. But as we arrived in the evening and they didn’t inform us before we had no chance to react. The boat we got was lovely prepared and orderly but not really clean. The pillows smelled as if they were not washed a long time ago. In addition we were freezing at night in spite of a heating which is too small to heat the big iron room. We would never book here again. Very sad because it could have been nice if the owners were giving a little more effort.

Dirty oil smell

It seemed like such a nice idea, a nice alternative, but being almost unable to sleep because of the oil/diesel stench is not pleasant.
Especially if you wake up with a headache, which is really terrible.
Stinging eyes.
All your clothes smell of it, even when you get home.
We slept upstairs in the captain's cabin, without curtains.
Sleeping through the night normally is not possible.
Beds downstairs much too small.
About 1.70 m tall.
We lifted a wooden hatch below, where there was a layer of stinking dead water.
What we didn't know was that there was a party on the adjacent site, De Ceuvel, that lasted until after 4:00 in the morning.
So there was no peace.
The photos also did not match the internet and reality.
There is some kind of kitchen, but cooking is not allowed.
What we noticed was that the blue wooden hotel boat in front of our boat was completely rotten.
You don't want to be caught dead doing that.
Really not recommended, there is much better available for this money.
Bah……….
In the evening there is no lighting to walk to the boats or railings, which creates really dangerous situations.
Uneven floating parts that go up and down.
We have slept on a hotel boat before, but not with these experiences.
This is very unfortunate.

Miserable customer service, deposit fraud

Very bad customer service!!! Don't book under any circumstances!
We had to cancel the accommodation (the cancellation was made within the deadline) and have now been waiting for months for the deposit to be refunded. Accessibility is really poor, you don't get a reply to emails.
The cancellation was confirmed to us after many attempts to contact us, but we still haven't received the money back! It's over €960, which is very, very annoying!
