Sunday brunch

Sunday breakfast in The Dining Room at the American Trade Hotel is a total luxury: elegant, with that sophisticated, colonial vibe of the Old Town that makes you feel on another level.
The dishes are delicious, well presented, with surprising flavors and generous portions that leave you really satisfied, without being hungry.
Loved everything, zero complaints, would come back without hesitation. Total sophistication.

The ATH was lovely - dark wood cabinetry and walls in the room, beautiful large tiled bathroom and elegant common areas like the library and patio, lounge, and pool area. The pool was small, but a perfect place to cool off in the humid afternoon or evening - private and quiet too. The desk staff was especially friendly and helpful; I had two early departures and they arranged for my breakfast to be boxed up, and even accommodated my gluten allergy! The location in the Casco Viejo was wonderful too, being no more that 10 minutes walk from all of the museums, churches and eating spots in the area. Would definitely book again!

The hotel is marvelous, a true hidden gem in the middle of Panama City. Beyond the spotless rooms and the comfortable, well cooled space, what really set this place apart was the staff. They went above and beyond in a way I did not expect and will never forget. When something came up unexpectedly, they handled it personally, followed through on every single promise, and stayed on top of it long after most places would have simply moved on. That kind of genuine, no excuses hospitality is rare to find anywhere. I left completely at ease, knowing I was in the best possible hands. If you want a clean, welcoming home base in the city with a team that truly cares about its guests, this is the one. I could not recommend it more highly, and I will absolutely be back.

Good visit to Old Panama City

A nice hotel in the old area of Panama City. the staff was very helpful and nice. The room needed some maintenance since it is an old building.
