Overall, good stay. The budget room was a little small but had all the essentials. It was clean, had a kettle and a refrigerator. And a smart TV which was really nice and unexpected. My only complaint was the distance to Registan Square. They say 15 min walk on their description. Absolutely not! It was closer to 25 minutes and we walk pretty quickly...

The rooms are small and nothing speciel. But We both had a great night sleep, because of the bed, pilow and the great gold temp.
So all in all, a real good stay :)

Fabulous Samarkand and the friendliest hotel.

A beautiful hotel. Very pleasant service staff-hospitable, welcoming. The location is very convenient-to the main attractions walked, sometimes took a taxi, it is cheap. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds. You can have tea on the terrace upstairs, eat fruit, sunbathe. The atmosphere is very cozy, everyone smiles, ready to come to the rescue, gave an umbrella, a thermometer, water and everything. The quality is excellent for a little money. Everybody, a hotel. Samarkand is a very beautiful, fabulous city, of such beauty hardly found anywhere.

Hotel recommended, but without excursions

Nice hotel, where the rooms are arranged on three levels. On the ground floor the rooms open around a small central courtyard. On the top floor there is a large terrace. The rooms are spacious and well cleaned: they are tidied up every day.
Not very convenient location: Registan is about 20 minutes walk away and there are not many bars or markets in the area.
Friendly service and very helpful. Breakfast is quite varied, offering several sweet or savoury choices, yogurt and juices.
The only flaw is contained in what are sold as excursions, but which are actually simple transfers: we spent 30 euros each on an “excursion” to Shahrisabz with a “guide” who was actually just a driver, did not speak a word of English and drove recklessly making daring overtakes in the middle of a bend in the mountains. If we had arranged the transfer ourselves it would have cost us a third.
