Great rooftop, location and lovely staff.

Great location next to the historic square. Rooms good, not super modern but functional, loads of hot water. Breakfast had a great choice and they can make eggs etc on demand. Rooftop had a lovely view. The best thing were the guys working on the main desk, friendly helpful and cheerful. I had to visit a pharmacy while there and they kindly helped me translate what I needed and checked I had bought the correct thing. They speak pretty good English which helped me a lot. Thanks !

It's an ok place but very close to Registan Square

The location is the only thing it has going for it. Very close to Registan Square. The rooftop dining hall is also very nice with view of Registan Square. The breakfast was good. No elevator. Room was just ok. Very basic amenities.

Great location near The Registan

Stayed in the new part of the hotel. No atmosphere quite clinical. Kettle provided in room, no tea or sugar. No water glasses
Breakfast was ‘local’ otherwise just toast and jam and only served starting at 8am.
On the positive side it was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly.
They only take cash for payment, no credit cards.

Would pick again and again

Overall, this is a nice hotel. But what makes it wonderful is the location. The breakfast room and terrace literally overlook the registan from the back. It is a short walk through a nice park to get to the registan entrance. We stayed here the first two nights we were in Uzbekistan. It was a perfect place to deal with jet lag because while we were tired and didn't want to go out too much in the evening, we could sit on the terrace and enjoy the registan lit up.
The rooms are comfortable, the shower is good enough (nothing to write home about either way), the beds are comfortable. There is a minifridge. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were all helpful and spoke english well (if that is important to you). So overall, a good hotel, with an amazing location.
