Excellent location

We stayed as a family of four at Koh i Noor guest house. The guest house is run by a lovely family who try their hardest to make your stay enjoyable.
Our quad room was a good size, decorated with traditional decorative pieces. Beds were traditional but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and well looked after. Breakfast options were varied and of a high standard. There was fresh fruits and salad as well as eggs and crepes. Unfortunately we had gotten into a routine of going to sleep late which meant we missed breakfast on a couple of days. In spite of this, the host would offer drinks and juices when we would eventually surface!!
The host recommended a very reasonably priced local tour guide who we used for a walking tour on one day and the second day for a tour of sights that couldn’t be reached by foot.
The guest house is in a good location and most of the local sights can be discovered by foot.
All in all, we had a lovely stay. This is an extremely old guest house that has been cared for extremely well. Be mindful that there is a no shoes policy in the rooms.

Very friendly, peaceful guesthouse in the Old Town.

A very friendly family guesthouse in the old town a 600ms walk through quiet alleys from the Lyabi Hauz complex. Modest but clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced rooms decorated in traditional style. Superb breakfast all fresh ingredients offered in the pretty courtyard by the very helpful owners. So pleased that they also arranged a very well-priced tour of sights around Bukhara for us. A bit of a walk from the main sights but all within reach and the peaceful, pleasant, friendly ambience of the place amply made up for that. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.

Amazing Location if wanting to stay traditional.

Best place to stay if your wanting location.
A walk to nearby sights and shops.
Plenty of taxis nearby, and Host family are very helpful plus friendly.
Breakfast is very good, if your unsure about what to do ask the host as they are very knowledgeable and understanding.

Perfect place to stay

My husband and I stayed for few nights in Bukhara and we were very lucky to find such a lovely place, nicely positioned and above all with really great hosts. Sabina and her whole family are so nice and welcoming if we didn’t have our tight schedule we would have extended our stay. Everything was so clean, food was great, coffee and tea when we come back from our walks but at the same time very quiet although it was just a short walk to the centre. We have been given really great tips on what not to miss as well as local restaurants etc. Since we haven’t done all 5“Stans” we will definitely go back to Sabina and family. Really great experience and highly recomended.

Très bonne adresse authentique

Petit hotel familial très agréable.
Excellent petit déjeuner varié dans la cour intérieure. Beaucoup d'échanges et d'informations avec Sabina qui parle très bien anglais.
Juste un peu en dehors du centre, très facilement faisable à pied. Une très bonne authentique adresse à doux prix.
