Quiet and cozy

Kisubi Forest Cottages is a hidden gem in Entebbe. It's only 20 minutes away from the airport and has a peaceful and cozy atmosphere with excellent customer service. The rooms are clean and spacious. You may go shopping at Victoria Mall, buy souvenirs from the Art Market, and if you enjoy water, Lake Victoria is just nearby. In the mornings, I enjoyed a tasty matooke veggie mix (katogo). This was my first visit, and I'm already looking forward to returning to this beautiful spot on my next trip to Uganda.

Perfect escape in Entebbe

We stayed one night here while in Entebbe.
The rooms were fab, we stayed in the standard double which even had a little kitchen area and nice desk to work at.
They only have 7 rooms which makes for a lovely intimate setting, peaceful location next to the forest.
The staff were all very friendly and eager to help.
Food was delicious especially the fresh passion fruit juice at breakfast.
Located right next to Zika forest a hidden gem activity in Entebbe.
Looking forward to returning.

Kisubi cottages Entebbe

Had a wonderfull stay for 1 night @ Kisubi cottages, right next to Zika forest. Host went out of her way to spoil me and made me feel comfortable. The food was define and place was lovely and safe for a solo ladies traveler. Met up with a friend of mine Diana from Myler Safaris and had a lovely walk and dinner together. I can recommend anyone to stay at Kisubi cottages in Entebbe.

Ideal for Families or groups of friends

This week I spent one night at Kisubi Forest Cottages, in a quiet back road that's two minutes from Entebbe Road.
There are six rooms and one family cottage. Each room is very spacious. All are ensuite. My large room had a small kitchen and self-contained bathroom with shower. There was plenty of hot water. Other rooms have a larger bathroom with bath and shower, rather than having a kitchen area. Each room has a TV. The mosquito nets were ornamental rather than useful and I shared this comment with management.
There is a small well-kept garden which had been booked for a party. The dining area has an open fireplace.
I arrived mid afternoon and had whole fried tilapia with chips. It was excellent.
Service was good throughout my stay.
The cottages are ideal for families or groups of friends who want to hire the whole place for a weekend, to celebrate a small function, for example.
The local rate for a double room is 200k ugx per night and includes a generous breakfast of fruit, toast / bread, tea / coffee, pancakes or eggs.
It's also a convenient location for visitors who want to go bird watching in Zika Forest.
The cottages are under new management and I look forward to revisiting very soon.
