Victoria Rock Resort is a Special Place…

I highly recommend the Victoria Rock Resort. You don’t have to stay at a 5-star hotel to receive 5-star service, and that is exactly what you will receive at Victoria Rock. The minute you arrive they make you feel welcomed. Customer service is their priority, and you can tell they really care about their clients and making them feel special. Madam Judith is the best manager and so warm and friendly and does everything she can to make your stay wonderful. Marion, Tessa, Costance, and Vesta were sweet and always kind and helpful, and Precious went above and beyond cleaning my room and making it beautiful for me, even with a special surprise. Every single lady on the staff was personable and took the time to speak to you and ask how you slept and if you needed anything. The ladies are very hardworking, talented, and always genuine. They sincerely show gratitude to their guests, and that’s what makes Victoria Rock #1! Views of Lake Victoria are gorgeous with amazing sunrises and sunsets. The beds are very comfortable. The food is delicious. Thank you, Victoria Rock!

Switched off the lights

Terrible room, terrible service. We were playing a game and there was a noise complaint. We reduced the noise. However the hotel switched off the lights (power mains) to force us to our rooms..not cool! Doryne

Right on a beach

A good place for overnight in Entebbe. Staff is really friendly and smiling, they organize reasonably priced transfer to airport and breakfast was quite nice. Location is great.
There is also room for improvement. No wifi in the room, lack of ambience, very hard bed (maybe some would like) and needs to be cleaner (for african standarts maybe its clean, but not for european).

Great hotel

The most amazing part about this breathtaking views of lake Victoria as you wake up in the morning.
The reception staff are friendly and professional and pay attention to details
The service isn restaurant is also good
And the foof is very delicious
I would highly recommend this hotel for someone who loves nature.
I would definitely visit again in future

Below standard, unimpressive and did not met client expectations.

Victoria Rock Resort is very strategically positioned for tourism business. There seems no competition or slackness in improving tourist attraction by self upgrading or refurbishment. The place needs competent and innovative management and staff.
The bedroom had a basic old furniture: An old bed and a hard old hard mattress. Very limited space. Toilet and bathroom are very poor and far below standard. Very little or no amenities. Staff very casually dressed, causul in service. Most staff show little hotel training.
