A heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire team at Jumeirah Muscat Bay for making our stay truly exceptional and unforgettable.
Our experience at Breeza Restaurant was absolutely extraordinary. A special thank you to Chef Andrea, whose incredible Bistecca Fiorentina and Tiramisù delighted our taste buds and turned our dinner into an unforgettable culinary experience.
We would also like to thank the entire Breeza team for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Their wonderful recommendations made our half-board experience even more enjoyable, allowing us to discover so many delicious dishes.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation for our experience at Peridot Restaurant. A special thank you to Gragan Bhatia for the exquisite delicacies prepared for us every day, and to the lovely Iman for her thoughtful and excellent recommendations at breakfast. 4/5 – Stunning resort, exceptional service & food, but warm pools a big disappointment
The only reason this isn't a 5-star review:
The family pool and adult pool remained uncomfortably warm throughout our entire 4-day stay. With temperatures exceeding 40°C and very high humidity at this time of year, the pools become one of the most important facilities at the resort.
Unfortunately, the water temperature was so warm that it felt closer to a jacuzzi than a swimming pool, making it difficult to properly cool off.
The only pool with chilled water was the children's pool, which we occasionally used simply to escape the heat.
We saw the management and engineering teams working on the issue, and they were clearly making efforts to resolve it. However, the reality is that the problem remained throughout our stay.
At a premium five-star resort, particularly during the hottest months of the year, guests rightly expect the main pools to provide a refreshing escape from the heat.
With the negative out of the way, the many positives:
Absolutely stunning location with spectacular scenery and breathtaking mountain and sea views.
The beach is beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing.
The food quality was exceptional — arguably the best we have experienced at any five-star resort. The variety, freshness, presentation, and overall quality were outstanding. Every meal felt like a highlight of the stay.
The staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, delivering the high level of service expected from a luxury resort.
The kids' club was excellent and a real asset for families, with engaging activities and a friendly team that our children thoroughly enjoyed.
Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, quiet, and ideal for a family stay.
The entire property is beautifully maintained and presented to a very high standard.
A particular highlight was the boat trip from Qantab Bay. We saw dolphins, swam with turtles, and enjoyed a fantastic tour of the stunning coastline — an unforgettable experience and highly recommended.
Despite the pool temperature issue, we still had a fabulous family holiday and created some wonderful memories. If the pool temperatures had been as impressive as the rest of the resort, this would have been an easy 5-star stay.
