Breakfast buffet review at IntercityHotel Bawshar Muscat ️
Special thanks to the accommodating staff — Aaril, Mahil, and Manju — for their warm assistance and attentive service during breakfast. Their hospitality added a positive touch to the experience.
A few areas for improvement:
• No detox water or infused water option available
• The place became quite loud because of large groups dining together
• Seating space felt limited and crowded during peak breakfast hours
Overall, the food quality and staff service were commendable, though the dining atmosphere and space management could still be improved for a more relaxing breakfast experience.

Comfortable and friendly
Location requires cabs to old Muscat, but is a short walk to the Mall of Oman.

Perfection. Eagerly anticipating my next visit.
Overall, I truly have zero qualms about any aspect of my stay. I can be very picky and have quite high standards and expectations generally when it comes to customer service interactions and my holiday stays. I am actively anticipating the next opportunity I have to return back to this hotel. Each day for the last 9 days since I departed I have thought of my stay here and of each member of the hotels staff.
This was my first time travelling alone and as a woman that is risky and terrifying. I felt extremely safe and well taken care of at this hotel. I never felt like a piece of meat. I was treated well and as a human at each turn. The room doors also have both a normal lock and a keychain lock, I was very grateful for this double safety feature.
I was unable to get every name and the notes of the names I made were lost in the process of setting up a new phone. I unfortunately only remember a few names. I want to dedicate thanks to Ahmad at reception, Qayoom, Manju, and every other member both behind the scenes in the kitchen and at front of house during breakfast. The chef who made my omelettes and my yoghurt on the last days, thank you.
My absolute most deepest of thanks to Aamir. You made an amazing stay reach a level of perfection. Your accommodation of my requests, the support and overall willingness to fulfil my needs were very comforting. I want to say I am so sorry, I did not realise until I was on my plane home that I had given you every other persons tip, but your own was left in my bag. Please know, I did not forget you. In fact, you had the largest tip of all (though you informed me tips are shared amongst you all which I think is honourable). I’m very sorry though that you may have felt I failed to tip you after all you did for me. It has haunted me all week. I hope I am able to return to Oman again and should you still be there I will absolutely be rectifying this. I hope the tips come to you tenfold from all who stay here, InshaAllah.
