Welcoming and wonderful accommodation

We were extremely impressed with the wonderful Avalon Resort. We had an extremely well appointed cottage with a nice balcony overlooking the nice grounds. The room was clean, comfortable and good value. We enjoyed the rock swimming pool and relaxing jacuzzi. Thank you to the friendly host

Fabulous stay Totally recommend.

Fantastic resort style motel. Friendly and helpful staff, fabulous setting amongst tropical gardens, clean and tidy unit with comfortable bed. Totally recommend

Peaceful family stay with kind hosts

Our family loved this place! The cottage was set up for peaceful family time and wonderful sleeps for our family of 4 with a 5 and a 8 year old . The ducklings and ducks on the property were a hit with the kids, they were able to feed them along with the fish. We went kayaking in the river behind and it was such a calming experience that our whole family enjoyed. Everyone at the property was so kind! Great memories all around. The kitchen was well equipped for meals. Do bring mosquito repellent, there are a ton of them.

Hidden Gem

Resort is beautiful! Hidden away and very peaceful. Our room was lovely, very clean and tidy. Beds were comfy. Beautiful gardens, really well looked after. Family are really welcoming and helpful. The Spa pool was clean and nice and hot all the time. The deck area is great to have dinner or breakfast and there is a pizza oven and bbq there too!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE

I don't even know where to start with this amazing place as there is so much to rave about.
First of all I was a bit hesitant going down a long driveway into the wilderness with my young son, but as we drove down we saw beautiful rivers and wildlife.
When we arrived at reception the manager was so kind, I had made a mistake with my booking and he did everything to rectify my mistake.
He took us up to a villa which looked nice from the outside but wow when we walked in I was absolutely amazed. This place was absolutely beautiful, it has a fully equiped kitchen with beautiful cutlery and crockery, it also had two beautiful and comfortable single beds and a stunning loungeroom with a beautiful bathroom and then a big room with a large bed. Topped off with a beautiful balcony where you could hear and see birds everywhere. The place was immaculate. It made me wish I had booked in longer just for the sake of it.
We went down to the pool, which was stunning with rocks etc in it and a amazing spa but it didnt end there. There was also a toilet, sheltered seating area, pizza oven and bbq. Like seriously this place was better than 5 star places I had stayed before.
Avalon resort should be very proud of what they have created because it is just a magical sanctuary.
I will be telling everyone about this tranquil resort if you are looking for somewhere affordable, beautiful and close to town this place is it.
Thankyou Avalon resort for a one night stay we absolutely loved. We will be back for sure.
