Perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Stunning scenery to enjoy at your own pace. I highly recommend a visit

Outstanding experience in this stunning location. Surrounded by forest, river and snow topped mountains. Hotel is full of character and well maintained. Our room was very spacious with lovely terrace over looking the river and mountains. Comfy bed and reclining chairs and beautiful modern bathroom. Fridge in room a useful addition.
Food was simple, wholesome and delicious many items home cooked.
Staff/owners very friendly and helpful.

Noise from the road

We were one of the few who were there more than 1-2 nights, yet we got the cabin that was very close to the main road. There was a lot of noise. This made us leave earlier even though we had paid for another night.
It costs 100kr extra for a dog, per night.
There was no kitchen equipment in the cabin, so we had to go to buy a frying pan etc.
I later found out that it could be borrowed from the common kitchen, but there was no information about this.
Nice pool and nice to swim in the river. The food in the restaurant was OK, but something simple and overpriced.

Lovely retreat near Dombås, Dovre, and national parks

We spent two weeks in mid-September at Toftemo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable room and nice bathroom with a balcony looking toward the river and mountains. The Toftemo staff was wonderful and friendly - and even helped us to conveniently rent e-bikes (highly recommend!). The location is peaceful, close to endless hiking, and within a reasonable drive to several national parks. We would love to return!

Nice accommodation for those with dog

Stayed in family room. Had a dog. Spacious space, good lighting, furupanel and nice bathroom. The room matched the description provided on the booking. Dog friendly. Nice view towards the campsite and the river. Breakfast was included and offered fresh bread and simple dishes, eggs and bacon, yoghurt and müsli, juice, milk and coffee/tea. Eaten calf steak for dinner and a little piece of cake. The portion was good, the sauce was thick and good and the meat soft. Overall a good accommodation.

Value for money.

Nice bedroom and bathroom. Eaten a delicious dinner and breakfast was absolutely top.Lun atmosphere. Clean and nice. Would definitely recommend this place. Friendly service
