Experienced elegance on the waterfront
The breakfast buffet is well-organized and briskly-served, and the breakfast room has good light and nice views; a very pleasant way to start the day. Creative cocktails, delicious hot appetizers and polished, attentive service at the adjoining Salon du Nord bar were the "icing on the (Victorian) cake".
Tips: If you have an early train to catch and need a to-go breakfast, make sure you ask the desk early in the day (I was told I should have gotten our request in before the breakfast staff leaves). Second tip: If view is important, I suggest calling ahead to request a waterfront view–-we found ourselves with a view of the roof of courtyard, with lots of other windows.

Cleanliness needs to be improved
Location is pretty good, breakfast was okay.

I am very sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues you experienced in your room. What you describe, particularly regarding the headboard and hairs on the floor, is absolutely not the standard we expect from our housekeeping team, and I completely understand how unpleasant this must have been. Your comments will be followed up directly with our housekeeping department.
I am also sorry that the room temperature and climate control caused discomfort during your stay. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as the overall comfort of the room is an important part of the guest experience.
