Great budget option. Will stay again

These comfortable rooms are next to the main hotel. I believe the only reason for these to be budget is the fact that the view isn't great. The breakfast taken in the main hotel is definitely top notch. Everything fresh and of outstanding quality.

Very disappointing

I was there with friends but it was very disappointing. Minimalist room, located on the side of the Thon hotel, without a hairdryer and the soap had run out. Found the room freezing. Very old and worn furniture.

Weird rooms with a perfect breakfast.

Hotel is really weird, actually looks like an old hospital transformed in a hotel. Window insulation was quite bad and bathroom looks like out a horror movie, still very cheap for Norway and good for young people that is there for sking. The best is the breakfast as you take it in Thorn hotel. I would say that what make it worth, was the breakfast. :)

Surprisingly good

We stayed for one night and we were very satisfied. The room was clean and good, beds comfortable and the environment nice. Quiet and extremely nice views. The breakfast was very good. We can warmly recommend this accommodation. We would definitely come here again!

Very basic

They say it is a student hostel that during summer months is used as an accommodation for tourists, I'm not really sure about that.
The place is really basic, there is no reception, nobody at the entrance, no staff at all, except from time to time the cleaning ladies of the nearby Thon hotel.
When I did visit it "all" the doors of the rooms brought signs of break-ins, some were consequently reinforced at the lock.
The window of my room was broken and it did not close properly, luckily I was not at the ground floor.
The rooms are not clean and the furnitures and everything is really basic, but they are spacious and the bathroom is clean.
The reception where to check in is the one at the Thon, also breakfast is served at the Thon, it was not terrible in the end but for 85 €/night there probably are better solutions
