Magic and idyll.

Idyll and again idyll. Naturally embedded in the landscape are the cabins and the same with the campsite. Everything glides naturally with the water, river and waterfalls. Magical!
Yes, maybe need some cleaning of the forest, but only a little!!!
Lots of swimming options, good with fishing and so many tours. Fossestien is located nearby, where you can take parts or whole on a good path.
Otherwise there are many possibilities on Gaularfjellet.
A young local couple has bought the property when the former owner had to give up. And they have plans to renovate hygiene facilities, as well as upgrade cabins :)
I really hope they get it to and good that it gets in local hands.
We'll be back!!!

Great campsite surrounded by nature

We slept in a cabin with 2 bunk beds, a living area and bathroom. We were 2 adults and a child. Clean environment.
The cabin was very comfortable and spacious, with a very comfortable table to eat.
The most beautiful thing of all, however, is the location of the campsite, a real paradise surrounded by nature.
Excellent facilities such as laundry.

Cosy Cabin in the forest by the waterfall

Easy check in, great clean Cabin in the woods. Here you can make yourself comfortable. Sleeping bag and cooking utensils must be brought by yourself. Bed linen can also be rented. Nice path along the falls.

A beautiful place with high standard

Hov Hyttegrend by Likholfossen in Viksdalen is placed in really beautiful surroundings by one of the Norwegian official Tourist Roads. The cabins has a really high standard, and it's quiet. The only sounds you hear is the sound of the waterfall, Likholfossen, that is just outside, and the sound of the birds.
You should bring everything you need of food, drinks and so on, since there is no restaurant or shop close by, but the cabins do have a nice, fully equipped kitchen.
The prices are just great as well - and on our photo tours we have never found a place with such a standard for such a great price!

Comfortable cabins in outstanding nature

The cabin was warm, cozy and comfortable and it had all you needed for a short or long stay. The natural surroundings of the cabin are amazing and it’s very special that tiny pine trees are growing on the vegetated roofs. I loved that!! Don’t miss the impressive waterfall nearby. The amenities were clean and accessible. I will surely book again here if I’m in the area. Ottar, the person who runs the place was very friendly and welcoming.
