Great!

Great location. Close to shopping, restaurants, nightlife, cinema. Nice sea view from the room. I recommend room 425. Great selection for breakfast. Nice helpful lady at the reception.

Definitely not the standard expected

Firstly let me say that the staff were helpful and pleasant. However! This was not of a three star standard. There were cartloads of dirty linen along the corridor that were there when we arrived and still there after our three night stay. Sweet wrappers on the floor...similar story. The restaurant was closed for renovations. The road outside was being dug up so taxis could not get near..nbg for people with heavy luggage or if wet. Although on investigation this was on the hotel website we ought to have been told this and given the option of upgrading to the four star Scandic along the road. The room was not ready at 4.30 and when we were given the keys it was with the warning that floors were still wet. The furniture in the room was stained and the drinking glasses would have been better off in the dustbin
A pretty dismal state of affairs I am afraid.

Bodø vacation with my daughter

I slept here for three nights with my daughter. The room was big to nice to breakfast was neat. But really bad service from the cleaning staff. I asked for wash 2 day to order on the app. But I got no washing, also spoke with the reception who promised me wash the next day, when the maid went home early 2 days. 3 day we also got no cleaning talked with the reception who promised me that di would arrange it while we were out to eat, when we came back in the evening it was still not washed. This is all too bad not experienced this on other Scandic hotels that I use a lot. Have even worked in the hotel industry for over 30 years to this really does not hold, all too poor service from cleaning.

Fell short of my expectations

The hotel has no atmosphere to speak of. One would have anticipated a nice lounge and dining area overlooking the harbour as the hotel is on the harbour edge but this is not the case. The breakfast area is in the depths of the building. The corridors smell musty.
The rooms are very small and in my view barely adequate. On the positive side, the hotel is well situated and close to the ferry terminal. The staff are polite and helpful.
If travelling to Bodo again I would research different accommodation.

Dirty.

We had family rooms. The room was dirty and very dusty. The tables and the floor were not washed. Found also larvae towels. I've usually always been very happy with scandic, but this was very disappointing. Even the kids complained about dust and shit. The hotel was also under renovation, bad that they had not informed about this.
