You will battle dirts, heat, mosquito and desolation

The hotel is spacious. That's the only positive thing about the hotel.
had to call the manager before they rewashed the toilet. I entered to meet the toilet seat with old urine that had already formed cakes.
They used small generator from morning till the evening when I complained because I couldn't shut the window since the small gen couldn't power the AC.
The manager promised they would switch over to the bigger gen. They did at exactly 9:13pm and switched back to the smaller gen one hour later and it ran till the following day.. We had to open the window because the room was stuffy. What this means is that we had to battle mosquitoes from 10:30pm till the following morning. We had to leave very early without taking the breakfast we already paid for.
The hotel looks desolate. I doubt if we had more than four guests that fearful night.
In the morning we found the receptionist sweeping the hotel premises along other two staff. What this means is the hotel doesn't have the required manpower.

Crappy stay

Terrible hotel, all those pictures were probably taken when it was first built.
The room was so substandard and tacky, pillows were so flat and sheets were too old. Bathroom really really bad and they barely put on the generator. The hotel is a dead one final!!

AVOID ONLINE BOOKING AT ALL COST

PLEASE AVOID ONLINE BOOKING AT ALL COST!
It is just one big scam!
You have more chance of seeing an erected Eiffel Tower in Lagos than having free WiFi with complimentary breakfast offered with your room as described on the Hotel.com site for this place called PARIS Suites.
I was delighted when while in Lagos, Trivago brought up Paris Suites as an available nearby hotel and directed me to Hotels.com to book it.
I already use the Hotel.com app so it was very easy to finish booking the hotel and pay for it using my Amex card they have on file.
Armed with my confirmation I went confidently to the hotel only to get the shock of my life to be told that I had been scammed!
I was told that I had been the third person it was happening to in recent times.
Somebody claiming to be the actual owner of the hotel was called and he insisted that they have no online booking arrangement ever.
He claimed not to know why there was an Abidjan, Ivory Coast contact telephone number under the address of property, which he called without any response.
My booking was refused and since I needed a room desperately at that hour the only option was to pay again in cash.
I was charged the same price found on Hotel.com which was paid in the equivalent local currency.
The hotel had no WiFi and did not give complimentary breakfast.
The room was a decent size but dangerously had some exposed live wires hanging from an empty socket.
The shower head was missing from the hose making it look like one long tap extension and the hotel’s solution was to provide a bucket to be filled up with water and then used by guests to bathe with.
The TV was only able to show just one Channel!
The hotel was also very isolated away from most places which made accessibility a bit difficult.
Overall considering the general low quality in hotel standards that apply in Nigeria, there is not anything surprising in its poor standards.
Options for a better service elsewhere might even be non existent so I would say it is not impossible that I could make a return visit in the future but with my mind made up not expecting anything more than a bed to lie on.
