An excellent place to feel relaxed and safe in Abuja.

A nice place to be. Good customer service, good room service, nice and delicious meal. The hotel staff are welcoming and supportive. The room was clean and the environment is serene. In fact it was time well spent at Jades hotel. I will definitely return to Jades when next I am in Nigeria.

Poor

From the front desk, restaurant to the room, it's a sorry tale. The internet service is so poor and its restricted to only one person per room. It's an austere hotel. The management should improve on the services that are provided. Poor services all through.

Hotel of False Promises & Lies..

The manager promised exclusive rate of N18000 for room with 2 people. Buffet breakfast for two people was committed...
The AC was not working properly so we have to change room in 1hour.
Next day the room's lock failed and locked us out. We have to wait in another room when our laptop, mobile were locked in our room.. I was locked in bathroom for 20 minutes because door was not opening.. water had no force and not hot..
Worse, they NEVER offered buffet breakfast that was promised.
And charged 3500N for 2nd person which was promised free earlier..
Manager said, she did not understand what she promised..

The guest who wrote the above review gave fakes information about Jades Hotel. They are four persons and want to stay in one room but we refused because that is not our policy. Only one person is entitled for breakfast in a room and not two persons. We do buffet breakfast and anyone that has used the Hotel will attest to that. Our list room is NGN29,900 but we offered NGN18,000 with breakfast for one. Yes the room locked them out because of battery was weak and was replaced before then another room was offered for them to stay pending when the battery was replaced. We gave them the best of hospitality service ever but they are never satisfied and am not surprised they wrote just to discredit the hotel. Regards

Okay rooms, really slow service at the restaurant.

After a 7hr drive to Abuja, and was really looking for our night-over in Abuja before an early morning flight to London. Got to the hotel around 8:30pm, went straight to the rooms to keep bags, and the rooms were decent, and clean, and average. Rushed down to the restaurant and was super excited to see the varieties of "fresh" juices advertised on a banner, only to find only 3 out of the 15+ options were available, what a bummer. Then proceeded to order food as we were starving, and really excited to see a diverse menu; included pastas, Chinese food, continental, and indigenous foods. We ordered noodles with stir fried beef/chicken, thinking it will be the safest, quickest option. Our wait lasted for an hour, it was after an hour that we received the food. It was really not acceptable, and the noodles definitely were instant noodles :S
The food was tasty, but just absurd it took an hour for instant noodles with stir fried beef/chicken.
The air-condition in the room was an old unit, and half-asleep, really tired woke up suddenly to a really loud noise, to see it was the air-condition making a loud noise, kept switching it off and on to make it stop, until I couldn't any more and I fell asleep.
I'm not sure how expensive this hotel is, as my office paid for it, and I anticipate it to be around $100, but their quoted prices are $200+ per room, and it's NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
But must say that the staff were really nice and helpful! Probably the only thing I liked about the hotel.

All service is up to standard and all items in the menu are up to date irrespective of cuisines. We still taste of food and cleanliness of the Hotel which can be attested to by our guest far and near. We apologize if in any way we have not served you as expected for your queries help us to improve on our standard.

Not of much worth

The hotel seems to have been good in the past and showing slight traces of such in the present. As of today, it is honestly not a place for even 20th consideration amongst its peers. Facilities are run down and ambience is poor. The only worth any commen-dation is the friendliness of staff. The whole facility is poorly lit and no care nor attention is given to aesthetics. Even the outside neon signage on the wall typifies the state of the hotel. It is not worth the price charged. If revived, it mqy still make its mark even though its location is a worry too.
