Is real!

A very well preserved colonial home and run by a local Nicaraguan family. Very close to important venues such supermarket, ATM, bakery and just about 4 blocks from the main square in the city of Leon. Rooms are very clean, staff super friendly and transfer service is always available. Can pay card/cash and has optional breakfast service.

Hotel or someone's home?

Family owned hotel with an emphasis on family. We felt like we were staying in someone's home as a private party seemed to be on and kids running outside our room . Room was very small and I fell on the shower step needing hospital attention. Swimming pool not very clean. On the plus location was good.

Not the Flashiest, but a Nice Option & Good Location.

My stay at Hotel Real León in León was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The hotel has plenty of character and suits the historic feel of León. The location is excellent — you can easily walk to most of the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and cafés, which makes it a very convenient base for exploring. There are also great food and dessert options just around the corner, along with some good clothing shops. A special shout out to White Devil Tattoo — an amazing tattooist nearby!
It also felt very safe, with large iron gates at the entrance and a 24-hour front desk. That added an extra level of reassurance, especially when coming back later in the evening.
While you had to organise laundry through a third party via WhatsApp, the hotel coordinated everything smoothly and it was very cheap, which made it easy and convenient overall.
Although the hotel is on the smaller side, it still provides the amenities you would want. The pool was super clean and big enough for a few guests at a time, and the surrounding area was filled with plants, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The beds were a decent size and comfortable, with clean linen and fluffy towels provided. The bathroom itself wasn’t huge, but the shower was a great size and had reliable hot water. Nothing amazing or luxurious, but definitely comfortable and perfectly suitable for the stay.
Overall, Hotel Real León is a well-located, comfortable option for travellers wanting somewhere central in León.

Overpriced

This hotel has rooms with no proper window priced at US80 per night.
It has a tiny plunge pool with no space around it.
Why would you stay in such a rip off joint?

Exceptional customer service with a great view of the city.

What stood out the most was the hotel’s exceptional customer service. Stephanie, one of its staff members, truly went above and beyond our every request. The hotel offers clean good -sized rooms. In addition, the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also has a terrace that at night offers great views of the city.
