Home away from home

Truly a home away from home with excellent staff and service. The place was quiet and homey. It was located in a residential neighborhood with access to various modes of public transportation. This place is worth it for the price. The staff was very friendly and never once displayed frustration at any requests made. They also have laundry on site which is an added bonus. Everything was clean and the entire experience is calm and quiet especially after being out for the day in the noisy city of Kathmandu. I would highly recommend anybody traveling to Kathmandu or passing through to stay here.

The nirvana sweet home is Excellent.

I stayed in Nirvana Hotel for just a night but it was a nice little break. The lobby was very clean and welcoming, with the dining room and living room attached, both of which were nice. The room I stayed in was very tidy and had A/C that was glorious after two months of living in Kathmandu with no air conditioning. The room also had a nice little desk and seating area. The TV had some english stations, which was something other places I stayed in did not have. The mattress was a spring mattress which was okay, but not super comfortable. Staff was very nice and I had room ordered to my room which arrived in about 40 minutes (though in their defense, I ordered 10 minutes before dinner started). Generally my stay here was quite pleasant. I wish I had more time to enjoy the other amenities (though I think I would skip the pool as the water looked a bit questionable).

Very nice place and kind owners, welcoming and helpful whenever they can.
Quite place but still a little far from the center if you want to walk.
No pick up from airport proposed. Though I would probably go back if I visit Kathmandu again.
