hospitable owner and excelent view

This is very good accomodation, Room is very big and spacious, inside is very clean, and owner is great. Everything is included , and the balcony is big positive suprise.
Very close to the center and beach. Highly recomended.

Different than photos and descriptions

Panorama Alaj is situated very high, so you have to climb every time you come back from the crowded centre. We had a problem with water in the bathroom, which was solved by the owner. The apartment lacked everything: no bulbs in lamps, very few kitchen utensils, which were dirty when we arrived. Sometimes there was no light in the bathroom. There were no cosmetics and no welcoming drink. Parking places are very dangerous, situated on the steep hill. We almost fell down there in our car when we came back from the beach and it was raining heavily. There were no parking place and we had to turn back and the car started to slide on the mud. The stranger owning the neighboring apartment helped us. Offered water and washed the wheels for us and instructed us how to go down safely. In the evening we sat with people, who we met in the hotel in the dining room. The owner started to manipulate with light and took the ball from the football table where kids were playing just to show us it was time to sleep. We paid the same money for 6 nights in Kotor and there the standard and the host was absolutely amazing.
Breakfast was good on the first day if you like third category cold meat, Balkan cheese crumbed potatoes :) , hard boiled eggs. There was also watermelon, tomatoes, cucumbers. Breakfast was quite monotonous, but they try to do their best.
There is one friendly elderly lady in the kitchen, always smiling and ready to prepare an omelette for you.
We had great view from the balcony.
Towels were changed every day.

Great view, but otherwise average at best

We stayed here in June for 2 nights. The view is great, a really panoramic view of the city centre of Ulcinj and the bay.
However, the room was unfortunately rather old, with a leaking shower. The service was okay, the owners very friendly and the breakfast excellent.
However, there was no restaurant in sight, and the walk down to the bay and to the restaurants takes about 20 minutes...

Poor customer service

Vary in responsible from the owner after booking the trip month and half ago. They send the email and txt one day prior to arrival to tell us that they have problem with the bathroom, not specifying which room. They told us they can accommodate the place but no one was there when we arrived. The owner only spoke to us over the phone after going trough hoops they found only room for 4 of us not 7.
So Panorama Alaj is crossed over for us!

Staying in Panorama Alaj in Ulcinj

We stayed in Panorama Alaj apartments in Ulcinj with family (2 adults and 2 children) for 4 nights.
Positive sides of the apartment were - the stunning sea view from our balcony and rich breakfast served daily by the owners of the estate.
Negative sides- apartment was too small for four people and terrace with a nice view has to be shared with other family. As well as even dryer for wet towels. The apartment wasn't clean, with spiders web in the bathroom and trash can was full all days. Although you can enjoy the great view of Mala Plaza below, the journey from it on foot is very tiring because you have to climb up all the time. There was free Wifi service in the room but with the poor quality.
To sum up, the service and quality of this apartment needs to be really improved and if you want to stay in Ulcinj it's better to choose a place on the spot, because the choice in the city is really big.
