Will stay here again

Location is great. About 5/8 mi to the ruins. Convenience store adjacent with anything you would want. Restaurant was way beyond our expectations. From the reviews on here, I thought a couple other places would be better. This was the best food we ate in 9 days in the Yucatan. Chicken fajitas were excellent. Salsa was great. Portions were large. Excellent value for the money. Amy served us and speaks excellent English. She was awesome. Room itself was excellent for the price. In many ways it was nicer than chain hotels back in the US. The ac is cold, the shower was hot. The bathroom was clean and fully functional. WiFi was good. We didn’t even try the tv. Beds were nice. VERY quiet. I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be this nice, and I researched on TA prior to booking. Young guys working the store and check in speak broken English, but are nice and you can muddle through even if you don’t speak Spanish. I would recommend having pesos vs dollars if possible, it’s just easier. Great way to beat the tour busses to the ruins in the morning. I plan on staying there again next year, probably two nights.

Nice Family-Run Hotel

We stayed here so that we could get to Coba the minute it opened, and that worked perfectly. We were literally the first people in the park, and I was the 3rd person to climb the large pyramid that day.
The hotel/store/restaurant complex of Sacbe is quite amazing. The hotel was basic, but clean; the restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch only, served the BEST Cappuccino I have ever had, along with a lovely breakfast after our visit to the ruins (which are less than a mile down the road), and the store seems to be where anyone and everyone shops - from school kids buying candy and snacks to mothers buying tortillas for lunch.
I believe the restaurant just down the road, Chile Piquant (I think), is also part of this family's domaine. They recommended it, and it was quite good. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Sac-be.

Nice rooms, walkable distance to the ruins

The rooms here were nice, had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, good AC, and was nice waking up in the morning to the sounds of the birds and cockerels. It was a great place to stay a night in Coba to get to the ruins early the next morning (we were the first people there, and on leaving we passed the masses of people off the tour buses). Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for our family trip to Coba

This lovely, friendly little family-run hotel was a delight from start to finish. Clean rooms and comfy beds. A little open-air restaurant that ended up being the best eating in town, and where we were happy to hang around playing board games during down time. There's a well-stocked convenience store downstairs. Perfect base camp for trips to the local ruins and cenotes. We spent the second half of our visit in a condo on the beach in Cozumel, and tbh the days we spent in Coba at the Sac-Be remain our favorite part of the vacation.

As Good As It Gets In This Town.

The impeccable Club Med has failed and closed, so this and a couple other small places are about it. Hot water and pressure was pretty good. Clean and nice. I will include a couple pictures: when you see the face of the guy in the picture, you know you HAVE ARRIVED. Neat fellow. They have pineapples for sale and he took our pick and cut it up. What a treat! There are fruit trees on one side and a monkey on a tether. I paid a small stipend and got pictures with our grandkids and this monkey. Air condition was OK. Caveat: if you are a late sleeper the roosters will spoil that! WOW! Otherwise a quiet, lovely place with a very nice restaraunt attached. Worth the money, but no Comfort Suites place. Gave us free bottled water upon arrival and they have a large culinary water cooler/ dispenser.
