A gem! Going back! Parking available in getting off the door.
Upon arrival Jorge greeted us by name checked me in and helped with it luggage as did Damian.
The next day Mary and Daniel were happy to answer questions and help with a variety of things. In this place, the staff multitasks and are happy to help and obviously happy to work there. Chef Reina honored my off menu request bid crudites with lime and Chile piquín. The other chef even helped produce change for a $200MXN bill.
We met the owners and had nice conversations with them. The room was great. Clean, spacious, with blackout shutters, AC and ceiling fans. The bathroom was oversized and the Jacuzzi was heavenly.
The toiletries offered were higher end.
A full height closet was the only thing missing in the room.
The pool area was nice the water was on the cooler side but with the Mérida heat is a welcome respite to soak in it.
The full service restaurant was a pleasant surprise (see my Google review).
My daughter very much enjoyed the cooking class and market tour.

Relax in Merida
Perhaps the lobby lacked fresh courtesy water as usually found in hotels ... and even more so where the weather is warm. I also used the pool area... only note little attention in the cleaning of the chairs. Overall recommended.

❤️ Comfort, warmth, and an unforgettable welcome in Mérida
Our stay at Hotel Boutique Mérida Santiago was simply excellent. It is one of those places that delivers exactly what it promises: comfort, personalized attention, and a quiet atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the city.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained, offering everything necessary for a pleasant stay. From our arrival, we noticed that the hotel's operation is very well organized, with attentive staff and efficient processes that make everything flow naturally.
One of the details we appreciated the most was the flexibility with luggage. They helped us store it before check-in and also after our departure, allowing us to enjoy the city without worries. It is those small gestures that make the difference and reflect a true commitment to customer service.
The dining experience was also a pleasant surprise. We had the opportunity to have dinner at the hotel on a couple of occasions and enjoyed very well-prepared dishes, combining local and international flavors in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
However, what really makes this hotel special is the warmth of its team. All the staff made us feel welcome at all times, always with a smile and a willingness to help. And, of course, a special mention for Gio, the charming dog ambassador of the hotel, who seems to take the task of welcoming guests and making them feel at home from the first moment very seriously.
Hotel Boutique Mérida Santiago is an excellent option for those looking for comfort, genuine attention, and an authentic experience in Mérida. We will undoubtedly return on our next visit.

II. If you are going to serve a limited dinner service don’t you think you should have everything listed on the menu?
III. The young man in the restaurant at night and at the front desk in the evening was the rudest person we met during our 2 week trek through the Yucatan.
