The hotel is at the heart of Merida, you can walk everywhere and find food food. The rooms are fine, you have everything to rest. I got a room with the windows facing to the street and it was noisy but it didn’t bother me.

Worst hotel

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at in Mexico - and mind you, quality is abysmally low in Mexico in general.
Rooms are terribly noisy, especially the ones facing the street. There is even one room at street level, people can look into your bathroom if you don’t have the curtains up! Staff does not speak any english - not even a couple if words - and I am talking about young ladies and men. Thankfully we spoke Spanish but the level of service was no better. We requested a passepartout as we left our keys in the room, and we said we were a bit late for dinne - the lady at the reception gave all the passepartout keys to her son (4yo) and told him to search for it: a kid, slow and clumsy. We asked her if she was in her right mind and she was like “oh I am sorry I wanted him to play” are you kidding me or what?!
Rooms were quite old and run down, no wardrobe, bathroom had various broken parts (sink, shower, wc).
The morning after (a totally sleepless night) we left as soon as we could.

I was charged double when I got there
Then they said parking was close so I had the car at 6am a moved it then they said I had to pay for parking then the toilet and the toliet had issues

Modest place I agreed with the price. Lots of noise from the street.

The location and price are the highlights. It is a modest hotel. We asked to change the room because the air conditioning was making a loud and annoying sound. The rooms facing the street do not filter the noise and you can even hear the wheels of the trucks and the hooves of the horses. The facilities look neglected, the cleaning is average, the service was good, they only leave you 1 roll of paper despite it being a double room. It is a modest place and for the price it is adequate. What I liked the most were the beds that were comfortable.

Comfort and location

Excellent location of the hotel with key points super close, clean, meets the basics.
I would have liked it to have a minibar to store drinks and food. As far as cleaning is adequate, it should only improve in the pool area, which is very neglected.
