Air conditioner turn off for 3-4 hrs during my second night.
Breakfast bar no body was there to rwfirl the second day
They didnt left bar soap or shower gel

City Express Hermosillo Expo dirty rooms experience

I made a reservation with my Marriott points for April 3th 2026 check-in. The room assigned was found dirty (toilet with stains) and hair on the bed blankets. We reported the incident to receptionist and she assigned another room. We went to the 2nd room and found this room was also dirty (restroom toilet with stains on the seat cover) and bed blankets had hairs. We reported the incident and we were assigned another room and we found this room was in worst condition (hairs on the bed blankets) and cookie crumbs on the night stand. This time the security personnel came to the room and witnessed that the room was dirty. We went down stairs to talk to receptionist and requested our points to be returned so we can go to another Marriott hotel. The receptionist was not able to help and we called Marriott 800 number who provided instructions to the receptionist but she was not able to help. So we left the city express facility after 1 hr of trying to resolve the situation and our Marriott points were not returned. This is a very unpleasant experience which is changing my perception of the Marriott chain after being a Marriott elite gold member for several years.

The whole facility needs a remodel. It has toilets with black reams, bathroom sink about to fall off the wall, blood stains on the night stand and the wall by the night stand, as well as on other walls. Then they switched us to another 2 rooms that were same if not worse. I had to spend money booking my stay elsewhere, where I am absolutely satisfied with (Hampton Inn, by Gallerias Mall, I give THEM 10+!). My experience with Expedia is Absolutely the worse experience I’ve had in all my travels, I would not recommend anyone to use Expedia as their choice to travel, as they did not stand by their business ethics in any aspect.

The room was clean. The bed was suppose to be a queen size bed but it felt more like a full size bed. The tv control wasn’t working. I went down to inform the front desk and I was given another control. The problem was the batteries, they needed to be replaced.
