Relaxing Riad, welcoming staff and Hajiba!

My wife and I agree that staying at Dar Zerhoune gave us a real sense of life in a small city, family life, and the life of a woman in Morocco. The staff was wonderfully friendly in the Riad fixing vegetarian food for us. The bed was comfortable. The rooftop terrace at sunset spectacular overlooking the city while listening to the call to prayer. Most enjoyable of all was our “tour” with Hajiba taking us by the mausoleum for Moulay Idriss-1 and up into her home which overlooks the sacred place. In her home we experienced a peak into the family of a modern yet spiritual woman as well as meeting her husband and her lovely children. We were moved by her personal devotion. Thank you Hajiba for sharing your life with us and answering our questions. If you are “up to it” she will arrange for you to ride donkeys to Vollubillis, not for the faint of heart.

The best hotels I've ever been in Morocco. Thank you.

Everything was great. Really. The best accommodations I've ever been in Morocco.
- It has a rooftop that will make your stay unique with great views
The staff is very friendly. We met 3 girls who were very friendly and cooked very well (dinner there and did not disappoint)
- Full and comfortable rooms: we came from Chauen to spend cold in a hotel and here was the opposite. Thermal blankets and radiators.

Customer service null!!

No communication..we were wrong about the address ..when we discovered that it was not the right place we tried to ask for a free cancellation..the surprise that there is no one to communicate!! A day before our Reservation we received a message from them refusing to refund us!! To avoid really!!

You made a non refundable booking through booking.com.
The location and address is clear and being 1.5 hours from Fes, it's a surprise you thought it was Fes.
It was shortly before your stay you requested free cancellation, which we denied as it was a non refundable booking and payment had been taken.
We responded immediately to all messages from you, and even called you to discuss this.
Our communication was excellent, and quick.
In all your communication you were angry with us. However, we are not to blame.
Future guests - Dar Zerhoune is in Moulay Idriss Zerhoune. Very close to the beautiful Roman Ruins of Volubilis. We look forward to welcoming you.

W had wonderful time at dar zerhone it was first time in morocco for my friends and what they have experienced
wqs real authentic moroccan hospitality thanks to all the staff at dar zerhone. It was Shame we only Could stay for one night . The food was divine and positive energy of dar zerhone.

Lovely stay at this small guest house

I recently stayed here whilst visiting Moulay Idriss with friends. The location is lovely, the rooms are nicely decorated and the hosts were great. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. We were the only guests so I’m not sure what it is like when busy but this was a pretty, tranquil and relaxing stop on our drive around Morocco.
