Paradise Riad

I can highly recommend the wonderful RIAD Oasis. Amine, Bushra and Kamina were so accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. They helped arranged tours, they had a meal waiting for us when we arrived and the daily breakfasts were a feast. We asked for fresh fruit and the next morning we were served with a platter of the most delicious fruit to go with our pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice. The evening meals prepared in the RIAD were delicious as well. The Riad itself is amazing. Very comfortable rooms, great pool, lots of space to relax and read a book or just "BE". Set in a quiet and discrete location we felt safe at all times. The hustle and bustle of the souks is a 5 minute wiggly walk away, making the location ideal. There is nothing to fault and we will definitely be going back to this wonderful paradise of a place.

Beautiful location

Lovely authentic riad, comprising of 3 interconnected riads. Really attentive personal service. Basic breakfast and limited room service/ meal options. We ate out for lunch and dinner. Quite a walk approx 15 minutes from the main square which makes it nicer if you want to rest in peace, but not great if you don't like walking places!

Lost place in lost part of Marrakech

This Riad is also named "Le Perroquet Bleu"
We were booked into this place by a tour company and were the only / almost only guests.
The Riad is some years old and everything is worn down a little bit. Shower didn't work properly, water didn't drain etc.
The so called manager "Madame B." is a real madame and has other things to do than look after her guests. We asked for beer three days in a row but there was no time to get the beer for us (the only guests) but there was one bottle of red wine instead - or Coca Cola.
You won't be serviced with anything unless you ask for it.
Rest of the staff were very friendly but didn't speak english or french.
To get to the main place is a 20-30 min. walk through an absolutely non touristic neighborhood.
Best thing to do: book another Riad!

I was the only guest

I was booked into this place by a tour company that I have used a number of times in the past. I was very unhappy about this riad. It was not in a good neighborhood and it was not within easy walking distance of any restaurants, sites, shopping, etc. I was the only guest and after the manager left for the day the only folks left on site did not speak English so I felt trapped there. I had the opportunity to see a few other riads while on my trip, there are 1500 total in Marrakech, and they had so much more to offer. The call to prayers started at 4am (really loud even thru the closed windows and door) and there were a few more very early in the morning so I could not sleep due to the noise. After that finished the sun was up and the birds in the courtyard outside my room started, as well as a rooster in the distance. I am not sure why there was no one else at this hotel, it made me feel very unsafe there. I must say that the lady that cooked breakfast each day and dinner each night for me was fantastic! I also want to give kudos to the manager of the hotel, she really went out of her way to try to make me happy. The bed was comfortable but you have to hold the shower head in your hand to take a shower, not fun. The hotel had wifi and it worked great both on my pc and my iphone. They also had satellite tv but I could only find news in English. I guess if you are looking for a really local experience this might be the place for you, it was not the place for me.

Para estar en el centro y confundirte con lo locales

El hotel esta cerca a los zokos, caminando puedes conocer muy bien todo. El personal del hotel es muy amable, te sugieren lugares para conocer y tienen opciones de tours. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado. La piscina es pequeña y no esta muy limpia. El desayuno no es buffette pero sirven bien y es variado
