STAY AWAY
Stay away from this hotel.
We believe the hotel was seriously misrepresented and was completely below the standard we were led to expect.
On arrival, reception staff were rude and dismissive. We were simply given a key with no information about the hotel, restaurant times, facilities or amenities. Questions were laughed at or ignored.
The room was unacceptable. We found blood on the bedsheets, stained and dirty carpets, rubbish under the bed, a broken toilet and toilet seat, stained curtains and mouldy/leftover food in the fridge. There was also an ants' nest in our bathroom. We reported this and were told someone would attend within 10 minutes. 24 hours later, nothing had been done, so I removed it myself.
There were serious pest problems throughout the hotel. Cockroaches were present in the shared toilets. On one occasion, I entered a toilet and several cockroaches scattered into holes in the door frames.
The food and hygiene standards were equally concerning. We were effectively living on bread for two days because we did not feel safe eating the food. Meat dishes that were supposed to be hot were cold, and flies were all over the food with no apparent preventative measures.
Only one serving utensil was being used across different dishes, creating a clear risk of cross-contamination, particularly for guests with allergies. On one occasion, I witnessed a waiter put his fingers into the food to "tidy it up". When I asked whether it would be replaced, he simply walked away.
We were also extremely concerned about the drinking glasses. Staff repeatedly rinsed used glasses under a cold tap before giving them to other customers. This happened daily and was not an isolated incident. When I raised this, staff laughed. We therefore stopped using the glasses and drank directly from bottles because we did not consider them hygienically safe.
Staff were generally rude and unhelpful, and requests for bottled water were often ignored.
We spoke to several other guests who reported similar experiences. Some had stayed only one night before paying to move to another hotel. Unfortunately, we could not afford to do this and were effectively stuck until our return flight.
This is far beyond simply experiencing different standards in another country. Blood on bedding, cockroaches, an ants' nest, mouldy food, dirty rooms, flies on food, cold food and inadequate glass cleaning are serious hygiene and safety concerns.
My advice is to stay away from this hotel.

Horrific
Do not waste your money. The streets would have been better. Food is awful, everyone was ill. Air con didn't work. Staff laughed at us when we asked for water. Dead mouse in our room and blood over bathroom floor. Horrible smell of sewage. The worse place I have ever stayed!

Should of listened to the reviews - don’t make the mistake I did
I made the mistake of booking without reading reviews through love holidays - after seeing mixed reviews I figured ahh probably just people being picky who cares - my god was I wrong - at the check in spoke to a man and his kid they were 2 nights in said they had been surviving on bread rolls as food was so bad - figured I’d give it a chance - went to eat was so poor I ended up going to bed hungry -the room was filthy- entered and the tv from last guest was still on - there was a rotten half eaten fruit in the mini fridge and it looked like it hadn’t seen a hoover in months- again I usually don’t care too much about a room being dated as who spends there holiday in the room - but this was rank I called love holidays and am waiting for a refund and spent £2200 for a new resort which thank god is actually really good has a waterpark etc - If your like I was and figured ahh reviews are probably exaggerated I’m sure it’ll be fine don’t make the mistake I did - cancel and rebook somewhere else - in terms of staff was mixed - lobby guy seemed alright but abit blunt - bell boy was nice - bar lad was nice - women in the bar area was the final straw for me to book somewhere else and save my family holiday - she tried to refuse to give me water to take to the room and told me use room service which luckily from the reviews I know is charged! - oh and also when I got there at 6pm there was a plate of food left in the hallway - was still there at 11pm! Would avoid - legit would stay if this was free

Not 5 star
This is not anywhere near 5 star. I am staying in it now and can tell you it is far from it. Breakfast can be great but the staff and management have not considered what can be done to make it a pleasurable experience. Bees and flies on food..watered down drinks, smelly water.
Rooms... looks like from previous bad reviews the hotel has been covered up with new switches and fittings to make it appear as new and nice but in actual fact we have brown water in the taps, poor water coming out of the showers. Cleaners cannot provide shower gel because its locked in a room. There are insects and roaches around our room. There is dust in the corner of the rooms and passages.
This hotel can be a beautiful one with an amazing appearance but it has been a let down.
As for the spa do not enter.... one lady there who said she is one lady and cannot do anything extra except for a hamam for one and a massage for one ... it is very creepy in there.

Horrible, terrible experience
Worst experience ever. We booked thinking its 5 star hotel as it says but it was -1.The rooms were smelly and dirty, dirty curtains, the carpets were not hoovered, there was snot on the bed sheet. They clearly were not changed after the previous occupants. I was the moment I got in the room.
The swimming pool looked dirty. We spend 3 hours before we could be allocated our rooms, they kept saying 10 minutes with no communication.
The reception staff was rude, would walk away whenever we tried communicating with him.
ended up booking another hotel.
