Fantastic vacation

Nice hotel, approximatly 3 Km walk from Chania town center, best staff you can ask for.
Nice rooms. If you are lucky get a room in the end of old part, two balcony, always Sun or shadow whatever you perfer.
Enjoy Tine restaurant, Nice menu fantastic service.

INCREDIBLE VIEWS!

We passed the Kerdous Hotel on our way to Tafaroute and we so wowed by the view that we returned to enjoy the view, watch the sunset and spend the night. We had an excellent time. The hotel is a bit of a faded flower in need of touching up but that just might be part of its old world charm. Our suite was HUGE, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot and the hotel towels and bedding were excellent. The food in both the cafe and restaurant was very good. The staff was outstanding, incredibly kind, professional and attentive to our needs. We had a wonderful stay.

Excellent place to stay

Great place to stay for a long and peaceful, The staff are gentle and more than welcome.
You can be as if you are in a 5 star Hotel. just ask
very nice place to stay in order to live the Sahara desert

Could be so much better

First impression is good - the location is spectacular. Then it goes a bit down hill. The bedrooms are large and have ensuites, with a bath. I don't know when our room was last used but the glass provided was stuck to the table. There was a heating/air conditioning unit, but no means of using it. The sheets looked clean, but there was no mattress protector and one end of the bed was propped up on a rock. The swimming pool could have been so nice, but was empty, apart from a dirty puddle. The bar area and dining room were freezing. The food was OK, perfectly adequate. When we retired, very early, as it was so cold, we noticed our toilet wasn't working properly and constantly filling. I told the bar man (I think the bar was empty now) and he came and looked at it. After a while, he reappeared, apologised, I thought for the inconvenience, and left. I went into the bathroom. Not only had he thrown his cigarette end down the toilet, he had switched off the water altogether! We were only there one night, thank goodness.
With a little bit of attention and TLC it could be such a nice place.

Don't book until you are sure new management have spent money on improving things.

This hotel is in a fabulous location - it's just a shame that it has been neglected by previous management. My main issue was that it was filthy - the carpets in the bar didn't look as if they had been cleaned for months. There were tiles missing in our bathroom, the heater in our room didn't work (probably due to the dodgy electrics) and we were woken in the middle of the night by a gale howling through the gaps in the window frame. Unlike every other hotel we stayed in in Morocco we felt unwelcome.
