Nous sommes particulièrement touchés par vos mots à l'égard d'Abdou et de nos collaborateurs, qui mettent chaque jour toute leur énergie à offrir un accueil chaleureux, personnalisé et sincère. Créer cette atmosphère où l'on se sent immédiatement à l'aise, presque comme chez des amis, est au cœur de notre vision de l'hospitalité.
Notre boutique-hôtel a été pensé comme une parenthèse de calme et de ressourcement, à quelques minutes seulement d'Essaouira et des plages sauvages de la côte atlantique marocaine. Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez ressenti cette atmosphère apaisante qui fait le charme du lieu.
Pour nous, les plus beaux séjours sont ceux qui laissent des souvenirs, des rencontres et l'envie de revenir. Lire que vous repartez avec cette seule idée en tête nous touche énormément.

Perfect stay with some shortcomings.
From our arrival, we were greeted very kindly, offered tea in the garden, and during much of the stay, they were attentive to ensure we felt comfortable. They also helped us rent a car without any problems and at a reasonable price for European tourists. The breakfast was very good, and both the sheets and towels were clean and of good quality. The mattress and pillows were also comfortable.
However, there are some aspects that should improve. The rooms do not have ventilation or air conditioning, and we also found quite a bit of dust. The bathroom was small and would need some repairs, especially in the plumbing and sanitation, as the shower water would stagnate and the toilet got clogged on some occasions.
On the last day, they kindly allowed us to continue enjoying the facilities at no additional cost, something we greatly appreciated.
However, our experience changed completely at the time of check-out. We were presented with two separate bills, and one of them was done in a confusing manner, with pencil and paper, without accurately reviewing what we had consumed. Additionally, some prices changed from those listed on the menu, and they requested payment in cash. We had to review the bill several times because we were being charged for items we had not consumed.
Specifically, Abdul tried to charge us for food we had not ordered and even argued about prices that were clearly stated on the menu. We fully understand that in Morocco it is sometimes customary to negotiate prices, but having to constantly argue even within the accommodation itself is very unpleasant and leaves a very negative impression of the service.

We are genuinely sorry that your departure experience left a negative impression and we appreciate the opportunity we had to discuss the matter with you directly afterwards.
Following a detailed review of the situation, we identified a combination of misunderstandings and areas where we can improve our communication and procedures, particularly on a very unusual day for our team due to the Eid al-Adha celebrations.
We have also taken note of your comments regarding certain behaviours in the common areas and have addressed these internally.
We would like to clarify that our review found no evidence of charges for items that were not consumed. However, we fully acknowledge that the way the bill was presented created confusion, and we are already working to improve this process.

10/10 experiance. Highly recommend
The rooms were clean cosy and the beds were comfortable. The showers were really nice and warm aswell. The food is delicious and we really enjoyed it (especially the breakfast). The staff are lovely they are so kind, caring and welcoming . The riad is close to essuaria and is a calm place to stay. The place is relaxing but also has a buzz to it with lovely grounds and a heated pool!!

Lovely gem
On the plus side, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were superb. Very attentive and sweet. We had dinner there two nights in a row and the food was good but probably on the expensive side. The pool looked lovely but it was unfortunately too cold when we visited. It’s very close to some lovely beaches and the colourful medina in Essaouira.

Regarding the pool, we’re truly sorry you didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy it — it is actually heated to 28°C all year round, which usually makes it very pleasant even on cooler days. Hopefully, this gives you a good reason to come back and experience it next time.
