Highly recommended

It is an excellent place, with a super nice atmosphere. You are in one of the main streets of the Medina, very close to everything. We were tasting a delicious tea in the interior.

Poor Experience

The hotel was nothing like the pictures. It is very run-down compared to the pictures which make it look very bright and modern. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and, again, looked nothing like the pictures. The rooms were also infested with moths. We had cleaners letting themselves into our rooms whilst we were showering and undressed despite us putting a “do not disturb” sign on the door. The cleaners were very confrontational when we told them not to come into our rooms and they were sitting outside the room looking through the window despite us specifically requesting that they didn’t do this. The hotel staff at the desk were fairly helpful in guiding us around the city and with booking activities. I would not come back to this hotel again.

Guests smoking inside at breakfast

We spent the last 2 nights of our holiday at this beautiful Riad but were disgusted that guests were smoking inside at breakfast on both mornings. Shame as really liked the location, building and room.

Riad aging, calm

Aging Riad. Bedding a bit hard, old bathroom with electric shock if you turn on the neon light above the sink and take your shower at the same time... Shower curtain stung with mold.. blankets and bed tops are not changed between each client, that's not great... Lack of resources???
Staff at the reception not smiling nor very motivated. The only friendly and polite staff (who say hello) were the maids. Thanks to them.
We had our room on the top floor, and fortunately enjoyed the quiet.
For a stay of one to two nights, it is enough. To stay there the week, like us, it lacked a little comfort and warm welcome.

Beautiful hotel with an atmosphere of peaceful calm amid the bustle of the medina.

Gorgeous hotel, far lovelier than the photos: atmospheric and calm, like a wee sanctuary yet in the middle of the bustling medina. We were in a room on an outside wall the first night, which was noisier, but were then kindly moved to a room on the internal courtyard, which was lovely. There's a little table and chairs by your door, on the balcony area, too. The room and bathroom were really clean (as was the whole hotel). The beds are firm but I like that. We could only get internet downstairs near reception - you can sit in the courtyard when you need to access it - to be honest we quite liked having a break from more constant internet like at home.
