Not as bad as other reviews stated

I have been staying at the Hotel for 5 days. My wifi was not good and I contacted the front desk. Within 5 minutes I had the technical guy in my room and he sorted that out. The was water dripping from my bath onto the floor, once again I contacted the front desk. They came to see what the problem was, then moved us to another room. So service was good. The room was spacious and clean. All my plugs and sockets worked.
This is a Chinese owned and run by them. It has a beautiful swimming pool, a shop and big restuarant. If you want western food then go somewhere else. I had duck, vegetables and egg fried rice, enough for two of us. Breakfast is not bad. Took omelet and asked for bacon, which they went to make for me. Day time there is only one chef, but two at night. So there will be some time delay in any restuarant if everyone orders at the same time. Be patient and enjoy.

Staff not knowledgeable.Food horrible and cold. Very bad internet service. Initially booked 3nights.Moved after 1 night.

Got in after a long 12hr flight. Internet only works in the room. And even then, it’s very sketchy. So if you’re at the restaurant you’re essentially offline. Not much resolution from staff.restaurant food was cold and tasteless.had to send back for warming, it was still cold when it came back..breakfast was not good, just a pile with rice, chips, sausage, some kind of samoosa, baked beans, chicken offal, and eggs. the staff is friendly but not knowledgeable, so it doesn’t help much. Had booked for 3nights but ended up leaving after 1 night and the only reason for staying was exhaustion from the flight. Refund for the 2nights was given without any problems. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very poor services

Great rooms but not well maintained. Cockroaches are all over the place. Power sockets not working just to mention a few. Their services generally are wanting! The staff seem to be harrassed, not motivated to work.

Does anyone care?

This review is just for the restaurant. Took a group of work colleagues there for dinner. Menu is just one huge list of dishes (not split into starters, mains, desserts etc). Ordered dumplings as starters (they came twenty minutes after main course, as did our veg dish). Other tables around us complaining about service and food not coming out the kitchen in any logical order. Malawian staff complaining about the kitchn but doing what they could but clearly big issues with how restaurant is managed which led to a very disrupted, unrelaxing and stressful meal.
