Traveling with a dog

We stayed for one night at Hotel Plavas while passing through and were very satisfied. Especially practical was the special dog room with its own entrance, which made our stay with our four-legged friend very uncomplicated. The room is located on the ground floor just behind the restaurant, but the tables are assigned last, and since the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM, it is quiet from that point on.
The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. We also really enjoyed the dinner. The staff was friendly, and we felt completely comfortable.
For travelers with dogs and anyone looking for a pleasant overnight stay, we can gladly recommend the hotel.

Breakfast is not included in the room rate

Did the water in the shower have a strange smell, a problem with the sewer?
The most usual breakfast (choose from a small menu) for two cost 42 euros.
Coffee and tea were brought immediately without asking if it suited us or not, ended up drinking cold tea and coffee :). It's expensive considering the location of the hotel.

I am impressed with the quality of this hotel!

I am impressed with the quality of this hotel! we were in a sauna house with two rooms, a sauna, a jacuzzi (bubble bath) a guest house that has attention to details, great paintings by a Latvian artist on the walls, Latvian identity and values. Very tasty cuisine and super helpful staff, very quiet with a uniquely good atmosphere! A great place in Latvia
Esmu pārsteigts par šīs viesnīcas kvalitāti! bijām pirts mājā ar divām istabām, saunu, džakuzi ( burbuļu vannu) viesu nams kurš pievērsis uzmanību detaļām, pie sienām super gleznas no Latviešu mākslinieces, Latviešu identitāte un vērtības. Ļoti garšīga virtuve un super izpalīdzīgs personāls, ļoti klus ar vienreizēji labu atmosfēru! Lieliska vieta Latvijā

A gem, an absolute diamond - wonderful small hotel and great restaurant

A superb small hotel with an excellent restaurant. Beautiful landscaping and tranquil, relaxing outdoor dining area. None of the hotel rooms face the roadway, and the building is totally insulated against road noise. Certainly one of the nicest small hotels I have ever stayed at.

Beautiful green and calm place

We decided to stay for 1 night. Hotel is located close to the road but it didnt affected night sleep. Very cosy place. Stuff was really helpfull. Food was great. What amazed me the kost was beautiful garden they have besides the building. They also have 2 rooms where guests can stay with pets, like a dog for example. Great value for money experience if you are nearby and are looking for a nice place. White beach is 10min walk away. Though, getting there will require some intuition :)
