Nestled in Kuramae—often called Tokyo’s artisan and coffee district—you are just a short walk or a quick ride away from the area's top highlights:
Asakusa & Senso-ji Temple: You are right next door to historic Asakusa, home to the iconic Senso-ji (Tokyo’s famous historic Buddhist temple with its grand red Kaminarimon gate).
Tokyo Skytree: Offering unbeatable skyline views, Skytree is practically in your backyard.
Ryogoku Sumo Arena (Kokugikan) & Edo-Tokyo Museum: Just across the river in neighboring Ryogoku, making it a breeze to soak in traditional sumo culture and Japanese history.
World-Class Staff & Cleanliness

Luup Scooter Rentals: Having LUUP e-scooters/bikes available on-site makes getting around the neighborhood an absolute breeze. Cruising down to Ryogoku or Skytree on a scooter was an absolute highlight.
In-House Sauna: After walking 20,000 steps exploring Tokyo, being able to unwind in the hostel’s private, relaxing sauna service is a healthy luxury. It’s the ultimate way to recharge for the next day's adventures.
Live Music.. Focus even offered live IndoJazz Music Concerts in the mornings, a great way to relax, get inspired and to start the day. They also offered a Forum on instagram @ international.arts.forum where travelors can trade trusted advice. We hope they will offer more concerts in the future!!
Final Verdict: Excellent vibes, great perks, wonderful people, and an unbeatable location. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tokyo—10/10 recommended!

Awful experience - horrible communication and customer service.
When you pay for 4 nights of accommodation you expect to have somewhere to stay for the whole time. Not be homeless for 5 hours during the day.
You also have to pay EXTRA for a towel and the onsen at the property costs 4000 yen and is not included. There is also nowhere to store your luggage - just a taped area on the floor.

Very homey feeling, the bed feels relatively big and can even get some light work done if you're a digital nomad - the price is very decent for a central Tokyo location, and the neighbourhood is relatively peaceful, very little outside noise, since it's near a primary school.
Always my top choice.
