Bathroom drainage problems
When I returned to the hotel at night and took a shower, the floor outside the shower curtain (toilet side) was flooded with water, probably because the drain was clogged. The foot towel was also flooded. I called the front desk and they asked if I could go to the room now. After wondering what to do, they came, and the hotel staff was cleaning the drain in the bathroom. It took about 5 minutes, and they brought me a new towel. Although it was somehow improved after that, I have stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I have ever seen something like this. (Or rather, it is unbelievable.) It can't be helped that the room is old, but the cleaning seemed sloppy. (There was hair on the floor.)
The good points were that it was close to the downtown area. There was a convenience store nearby. There was a coffee server at the front desk that was available 24 hours a day. (This was convenient.) The affiliated parking lot (Osendai Parking Lot) was 1,200 yen for up to 36 hours. (It's normal for there to be a flat rate for up to 24 hours.) Breakfast was 1,400 yen, but the selection was good.
Overall, I don't think I'll be using this hotel again.

Average business hotel
It was about 1000 yen by taxi from Sendai Station, and it was close to the downtown area, so there was no problem with a convenience store and Starbucks nearby. (If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi because it's quite a bit of walking to use the subway.)
The rooms were clean, so I recommend it for those who just want to sleep!
