Good price recommended
It’s a very good hotel, affordable, close to the stations and shops of Daimaru and Paco—the neighborhood is really comfortable—from the hotel on the right of the Dany Seven or on the left, there’s a family mart.

The before entry, before arrival and stay at the hotel...
Before the trip:
Make sure you fill out the free Japan entry form online in advance. That makes the entry process much faster and smoother. Since my trip is not direct (flight wise), I'm required to pick up my luggage, go to a different terminal (domestic) and check in again. Make sure you allow yourself enough time. Another thing is for domestic travel in Japan, you're allowed to bring say bottled water over 100ml. The people at the security check point to drink the water.
Arrival to hotel:
I took metro and got off at the Shisaibashi station. Osaka doesn't have Suica card, instead they use the ICOCA card. I purchased my card at the counter after arriving at the Kansai airport. The young man who helped me spoke very good English. Don't forget to ask what platform you go based on what station. (One thing I found very helpful is Google map in the cell phone. Not only will it tell you what line and how to get there. A very helpful feature is what platform to get on)
Hotel:
Location: Very close to the Shisaibashi station. Google map suggests Exit 7. But this exit only has stairs (can be hard with luggage). Go to Exit 4A and there are elevator and escalator there. After you get to the ground floor, go towards Shake Shack (literally next to the escalator), keep walking. The hotel is on the other side of the street. You'll see exit 7 and pictures that say Daimaru foods. Keep walking. You'll see a Family Mart a few doors down. DON'T walk towards the Family Mart. Now the tricky part. You'll see a green sign that says Four Points Flex. But where is the entrance of the hotel? Look for a bamboo fence. There is a little walkway (which belongs to the hotel). Within 5 seconds, the entrance to the hotel is on the left. (It can get confusing the first time you enter the hotel).
A good thing for taking Metro to the airport is it's much cheaper. I took metro to the Osaka Itami airport (closer than Kansai). You need to first take metro, get off at Namba station, then there the limousine bus (a coach bus) to the Itami airport. The way to find the limousine bus is get out of the building, turn right, walk straight, then you need to cross and walk towards the bus stop. (if in doubt, ask the station information desk). I found that it can be a bit complicated the first time (even ask some very helpful Japanese people, they got confused, too). Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time. The good thing to go to the airport this way is it costs about 1600 yen v over 6000 yen (by taxi). This is especially appealing if you are a solo traveler.
Not only is the hotel near a Metro station, there are Daimaru (a fancy Japanese department store) and the Shisaibashi-suji (shopping street) past Shake Shack (with the back facing the hotel). You can literally shop till you drop at this place.
For convenience: turn right after you exit the hotel to find a 711 next door. The Family Mart is by turning left. Both convenience stores use automatic payment system. You deposit your money into the machine. (Just a friendly reminder: In Japan, when you pay, put the money in a little tray at the counter and the clerk gives you the change by putting it in your hand. If you need a shopping bag, you need to ask as it costs money. You can also use your ICOCA card at convenience stores.
Staff: I've read some negative reviews about the attitude of the staff. But my experience is completely different. Everyone I've encountered at the hotel, including the front desk staff and the housekeepers are all very friendly. The gentleman who checked me in also spoke excellent English.
If you want to exchange coins into paper money. I learnt that according to Japanese law, you're only allowed to exchange 20 coins (not sure if each time or total). You can also pay with coins at convenience stores, but please don't abuse the system.
Room:
The room I chose is very small (typical of Japanese hotels). If you are a very tall person, you might consider choosing a bigger room. My only complaint about the room is the air and heat setting. The air conditioning can be very cold, while the heat can be very hot. I figured a way to help with this is set the temperature to around 20 with the heat on.
There is a restaurant at the hotel, but it's not related to the hotel. I didn't try it as there are many good restaurants nearby. I don't think you get Marriott points for eating at the restaurant. Check with the front desk.
Amenities:
You can find cotton swabs, combs, toothpastes, tooth brushes etc. at the lobby.
All in all, a great hotel to stay in (but if you prefer to stay in a fancy or high end hotel, this might not be suitable for you).
No matter where you end up staying, ENJOY your time in Osaka!

Great hotel, well located for Dotonbori which is a short walk away. Also right next to a station.
Staff super helpful with a great range of free amenities such as toothbrushes, razors etc

Everything’s great, missing coin laundry which is very useful for travelling light in Japan. But eveything else is amazing. The bed was comfortable. I woul only suggest to make the TV’s streaming compatible.

Great location right next to shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, which made exploring Osaka very easy. The staff was always respectful and helpful. A few interactions came across a little blunt, but everyone was still polite and professional overall.
The hotel had nice amenities on the first floor and a free coffee machine in the lobby, which we appreciated every day.
The room itself was extremely tight with almost no storage space, so it was difficult to organize luggage. The outlets were also limited. The bathroom shower head is fixed aiming outward and cannot be adjusted, so water tends to spill outside the shower area. The bidet seat also did not have warm water. They were kind enough to provide extra towels when we asked, which helped.
Overall, a convenient stay mainly because of the excellent location and amenities, but the rooms could be more functional and comfortable for longer stays.
