Enjoy the open-air bath in your room
The staff were very polite and I felt that it was not as bad as word of mouth.
I wonder if the room was renovated, it was very beautiful.
I knew from another person's post that the water in the open-air bath in the room was not hot spring (circulation filtration type). Still, I only went to the public bath once and almost enjoyed the outdoor bath in the room. Unfortunately, you couldn't see Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath. The price is a total of 36930 yen per night, which is 18,630 yen (plus hot spring tax 150). Is it a little expensive among the hotels of the Itoen Group?
Dinner is a creative Japanese meal + half buffet plan. The basic dishes are set on the table, and you can go and get what you want yourself. Sushi is always served at the Itoen Group hotels ... but this time it was better than the hotels near the sea.
It's the home of wine, but I enjoyed sake.
There's nothing specific about breakfast.
Yamanashi Prefecture after a long absence. Next, I want to visit on a fine day.
On a side note, I went to an unlimited stuffing of Kikyo Shingen Mochi.

Typical cheap but bad hotel
Dinner was more average than I expected. There was sashimi and fried food, but the variety was limited, and none of it was warm.
Breakfast was even more shabby and disappointing.
The rooms were quite old, and the toilets, baths, and other plumbing were particularly old and disappointing. The views were not so great even on the higher floors.
The baths were average. There was an open-air bath, but it was quite small.
The parking lot was a little away, across the river from the hotel, and it was paved with gravel, so it was hard to find where to park.
What was good was that karaoke was free, and you could sing the latest songs.
Table tennis was also free, and it was large and easy to play.
Because it is an Itoen Hotel, the price was reasonable.
Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning.

We stayed in a Japanese-style room with an open-air bath (on the top 6th floor). We enjoyed the spectacular view.
When we checked in, we were told that the water in the open-air bath in the room was not hot spring water (circulated and filtered). From the bathtub, we could see the summit of Mt. Fuji across the mountain, and my mother, who accompanied me, was very impressed. I also liked it, so I bathed in the open-air bath in my room once after dinner, once early in the morning, and once after breakfast (in addition to the large public bath once before dinner). The price was 13,915 yen per night (+150 yen bath tax). Incidentally, the cheapest hotel room was a Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats or more, non-smoking, in the annex, which was 8,415 yen (+150 yen bath tax), so it was a little expensive.
I like watching the Isawa Onsen fireworks from my room, so I stayed at the Shinko Hotel in Oedo Onsen Monogatari in Fuefuki City last year, the same place as this year. Upgraded room (no open-air bath) 1 night (special day D+) was 19,200 yen (+150 bath tax). I don't think you can enjoy the fireworks from the Hotel Kimiyoshi room.
Dinner. 90 minutes. Reserved seat. Two people at a table for two. The food is almost the same as other Itoen Group hotels. All I noticed was that they had fried oysters. They also had wine. There was an ice bar, but it ran out and wasn't replenished.
I visited by car. The car navigation system didn't find the address or phone number. I called the hotel from the grounds of the Isawa Onsen Tourist Information Center (closed) to ask for directions. With Hotel Hatta in sight on your left, go straight down the road (one-way) along the waterway. I was told that the directions are in the order of Hotel Toyo. Hotel Kaiji. Hotel Kimiyoshi.
This hotel joined the Itoen Group in March 2023. Overall it has a clean and bright atmosphere. After reading the reviews here, I found that the staff's attitude is not as bad as the reviews say. I wonder if things have improved since joining the Itoen Group.

Nice hotel with strong Japanese feeln atmosphere
Amazed by the strong japanese culture that it offered..
Located in small, serene Yamanashi..
From the lobby... with lots of Japanese traditional icons, the tatami style room which is very genuine.. n so unique..
The fresh air n trainquility that mesmerize me...
n the japanese hotspring bath called onsen, that you will enjoy in this hotel, as well as most hotel in Yamanashi area
..
For breakfast.. a bit disappointing..
Lack of variety.. a bit plain..but served in real Japanese taste..
For you who want to feel the real Japanese traditional hotel..
kimiyoshi is the right choice
