Perfect location.

We originally booked a family room for all 4 of us, but a week before the hotel rearranged and gave us 2 rooms which was fantastic for us. The hotel is perfectly located for restaurant and only a few mins to the water bus. Excellent staff and a very safe area close to all of the key tourist areas.

Amazing location, 2 to 3 minute walk to Salute, gelato around the corner, great area to walk around, close to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast room was super cute and only 10€ per person. Second time staying here and we will be back. We were here in the heat wave and it was 41c outside and the A/C worked beautifully, slept really well. The room was spotless.

The water from shower spills all over and creates a slipping hazard. Almost hurt myself. Helpful to provide a water absorbing mat.

We stayed in a room with a double bed and a single. Very comfortable. I thought that the breakfast was decent for €10. The coffee was great. The room was clean. Could hardly hear any of the traffic just outside of the rooms windows, which opened up to a street below! It was quite remarkable. The only downside was the extremely poor Wi-Fi connection. If you plan to do any work on this trip, I wouldn’t count on it.
The staff (we met three of the front desk ladies), could not have been more helpful, for which we were so grateful. The water pressure and the temperature of the shower will much appreciated. Would definitely recommend if a strong Wi-Fi connection is not top priority. We would return again as that was not ours.

This hotel is on the other side of the canal, and they only allow you to cross without paying during a six-hour window from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. After that, you either have to pay a very high amount of money to cross the canal or take a long walk around just to get back to the hotel. Unfortunately for us, we had just gotten off the bus boat with heavy luggage, completely exhausted from our trip, and had to figure all of this out ourselves.
They sent me a message only a few hours before arrival, which is useless when you are in a foreign country relying only on Wi-Fi. This is something they should clearly tell guests before booking the hotel, but of course they do not. I also tried calling the hotel for help on how to get there because the crossing was closed, and nobody answered.
Finally, when we got to the room, the AC did not work at all the entire night. I was covered in sweat. I called the front desk, and a staff member came up and told me it would start working soon, but it never did.
Overall, it was a very frustrating experience, especially when you are exhausted from a Eurotrip and expecting things to go as planned. My advice is to stay on the other side of the canal where you do not have to walk crazy distances to get back to your hotel or pay every single time you need to cross the canal.
