L'hôtel bénéficie de chambres confortables, d'une jolie terrasse et, avant tout, d'un merveilleux emplacement à 200 mètres de la basilique Saint-Marc. Il se trouve à 5 minutes à pied de l'arrêt du Vaporetto (bateau-bus).

I had no issues with cleanliness, and the reception staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. Reception is also open 24/7.
One thing I actually really liked was that you leave your room key with reception whenever you go out, and they give it back to you when you return. It means there's no risk of losing the key while you're out exploring.
Overall, a great choice if you want a clean, convenient and very well-located hotel in Venice and don't mind the decor being a little dated.

Air conditioning cannot be set lower than 17 degrees Celcius (62F).
City tax could only be paid in cash. You will find this in other hotels too.
Check-in takes place in the main hotel area, but some rooms are accessed via a different entrance.
There was no elevator/lift in our part of the hotel, bear this in mind if you struggle carrying luggage up the stairs.
They want you to leave the room key at reception. It is a heavy keyring with 3 keys attached.
Only plug socket type L was available. Make sure you have an adapter. Type c (standard European) will fit but it might be hanging out a little.
The bathroom was new and nice, there was a bright light above the sink.
Despite being fairly close to the main square, there was very little noise outside.
Reception desk staff are mixed - some struggle with English or speak very quietly, others are energetic and easy to understand.
