An amazing place to stay in Venice
Amor Mio B&B surpassed my expectations. It was so lovely!!!! I loved the location - it was close to the canal but away from the highly touristy areas. It was easy to get to from the train station (public water bus 4.2 or 5.2) and an easy boat ride to the airport. The hosts were very efficient and helpful, they gave me easy check-in instructions and replied to my questions via WhatsApp. They gave me a few restaurant and bar recommendations and it helped me out a lot. Even though I checked myself in, it still felt homey and welcoming. The hallways were cute, the room was nicely designed, very comfortable, an excellent bathroom with tub. The breakfast was delightful and set-up in a beautiful room with lots of natural light. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, croissants, cereal, juices, toast and jams. The only thing to note is that sound travels easily through the walls. I could hear the neighbors coughing and talking. It wasn’t an issue at all, but I wouldn’t recommend it for people who are loud talkers or make a lot of noise. It’s a quiet place. Overall, an amazing place to stay. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Horrible customer service
My fiance and I had booked a 2-night stay at this hotel for our honeymoon trip to Greece & Italy right after our wedding. Unfortunately, a couple of days before the wedding, my fiance's brother passed away and the wedding and honeymoon had to be postponed. Understanding that we had booked a non-refundable reservation, we reached out to the hotel to see if there was anything that they could possibly do to support us during this difficult time and to help get some of our money back or at least a credit for the future. Unfortunately, all the hotel cared about was the money and said that they couldn't do anything.
So disappointing and disheartening considering that there was still 16-days left before we would've checked into this hotel. We will definitely not be returning to the hotel in the future or will make sure our friends/family also do not either.

Nice setting, but awful service!
You see that champagne/Prosecco on the table? Don’t get fooled! It’s impossible to get that at the property and you will be snapped at for asking it. Even if you book that place for the bday getaway. Also don’t ask the cake into the room and before the breakfast time - you will be snapped too!
Sad, because my partner put so much effort in organizing my bday trip to my favorite country and favorite city and never expected to be treated like that even if he notified the owners what kind of trip is that.
Also the owner (?) did not find it important to at least formally say happy birthday to me once we came for breakfast.
Next day we were late whole 3 minutes for breakfast. Our fault, but door to breakfast room was closed.
Nice room, but be aware, that your good mood will be ruined by owner being bothered by your visit in his place. I seriously was about to apologize for our visit.
First time such a bad experience in Italy and that for my bday!

Quiet Comfort In Beautiful Venice
Amor Mio is the perfect B&B for travelers looking to enjoy a quieter part of Venice. The room is incredibly spacious and breakfast in the morning is absolutely delicious. The B&B hosts were absolutely lovely and replaced towels and toiletries daily. We loved being in the local area of Venice and felt like the peace and quiet was well worth the 20 minute walk to historical areas like Saint Mark's Square. There are great local eats in the area as well as numerous gondola pick up spots.

Convenient, quiet, great staff
Spent six nights here. It is on the north edge of the Cannaregio district and on a map it looks like it is far away from the "action" but it is really easy to walk from this B&B to the main part of Cannaregio with only 3 bridges to cross. It is in a very quiet area which is great for sleep quality.
They only have two rooms. Room is spacious and very clean. They gave us a complimentary bottle or Proseco when we arrived and they advertise a "mini bar" which is actually a small refrigerator with some sodas and water. Breakfast was very nice with a selection of juices, a nice big pot of coffee, croissants, bread (and a toaster), cheese, ham, cereal. Go south two bridges and you come to a street with a nice cafe, a wine shop, and two bars with craft beers.
You do have to climb stairs to get in. Be aware, that it is possible when there is a very high tide for water to be over one of the streets you have to cross. I would contact them about this possibility before you lock in your reservation.

We booked through Hotels.com and got a pretty good rate, but it was the off season. I would definitely stay here again.
