I would happily give Urbani Hotel 5 stars for the hotel itself. The location is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, spotless, and well-equipped, and the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job. Every employee we met was genuinely friendly, professional, and service-minded. Thanks to the receptionist for helping us find an alternative parking garage near the central station.
However, we believe the hotel's policies should be much clearer and more transparent.
We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised parking facilities. On arrival, we found there was no dedicated hotel parking. The available spaces were public on-street parking managed by the municipality. While cameras monitor the area, the hotel does not take responsibility for vehicles parked there. In our opinion, this should not be presented as hotel parking.
We also booked a flexible rate, but our credit card was pre-authorized 15 days before arrival. We were told this was done to verify the card before check-in. While we understand the reason, it was unexpected and not clearly communicated when booking.
As a thoughtful gesture, the hotel offered us complimentary minibar drinks, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel, rooms, location, and employees deserve 5 stars. We simply hope management improves transparency so future guests know exactly what to expect. With clearer communication, this would be a perfect stay.

Perfect

Hotel very well located in relation to the city center and the Porta Nuova station. Very clean. Lots of choices at breakfast. Welcoming staff and good advice for restaurants in the area. No negative points.

Our Stay in Turin

We stayed at Hotel Urbani on our bicycle trip along the Po River. We stopped for two nights in Turin. This hotel was excellent. The staff were warm and welcoming. They had a secure place to park our bicycles. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast service was very good. It was a perfect stay.

It's very close to the station, go out the V. Nizzi exit. Found it a very handy location and the room was quite serviceable. Didn't try breakfast, lots of places nearby to eat and shop.

I would definitely return, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is close to the Porta Nuova station, but the area is quiet and clean. The bus to and from the airport stops just a 3-minute walk away, which is very convenient; moreover, in 5 to 10 minutes, also on foot, you can reach the historic center of Turin with all its beautiful monuments. The hotel has a beautiful, very clean lobby, and you can smell a pleasant scent of cleanliness upon entering. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms are sufficiently spacious (we had a triple) and have a fridge and TV. The bathroom is small but modern, featuring a nice shower, beautiful lights, and complimentary shower caps and slippers. The breakfast is excellent. It is served in a beautiful room, and the buffet offers a wide selection: toast, bread, croissants, various cakes, honey, Nutella, fruit, juices, and also some savory items (eggs, bacon...). Hot beverages are served from a machine, but the cappuccino I had was really good. You can leave your luggage in the lobby. I was pleasantly impressed by everything about this hotel, starting from the cleanliness of all the areas to the quietness of the rooms, and I would definitely return.
