Night on the Cliff

Arrival late in the evening, room only. We appreciated the operating autonomy, the type and convenience of the lease. Of course we were prepared for the type of reception but it fully confirmed our expectations. Upon waking up breathtaking views and swallows' nest on the balcony: a spectacle!

The AC broke in one of our room and we did not get help to fix it, or give us another room. It was broken for 3 days, for which we could not use the room. They refuse to refund us for these days.

The apartment itself was acceptable inside, but cleanliness was clearly lacking.
The building and surrounding area looked extremely run-down – more like Chernobyl than a vacation property.
There was an active construction site directly beneath our balcony, causing constant noise and disruption.
Most concerning was the balcony railing: the bars had an approximate 15 cm gap, which is a serious safety hazard for small children – they could easily fall through.
This is completely unacceptable.
I cannot recommend this accommodation.
PS: There are a lot of mosquitoes and no mosquito nets!

Because we were travelling in May a restaurant/bar was not open and the pool was not available. The apartment is well removed from any town, in fact it sits alone on a cliff it worked for us because we were passing by, but certainly not a destination for future visit.
