There are places where you stay and places where you return with pleasure. For me, the Hotel Trieste definitely belongs to the second category.
This is my third time here. The first two times I came in winter, for work and with friends; this time, however, I wanted to bring my partner with me, a great lover of nature and the wonderful landscapes of these areas. And I can say that I definitely hit the mark! ❤️
The Hotel Trieste has confirmed itself once again as a sure thing: a welcoming, well-kept, and familiar environment where you truly feel good from the very first moment.
The staff is incredibly polite, kind, helpful, and professional, while the owners are true hosts: affable, present, and capable of always making you feel like a welcome guest and never just a customer.
And then there is the food… truly exceptional! First courses, main courses, pizzas: we ate very well and with great pleasure throughout our stay. A cuisine that, together with the beautiful atmosphere and the people who frequent the place, makes spending your days and evenings here even more pleasant.
You can perceive the passion, care, and attention with which this establishment is managed. And that is probably the secret: at the Hotel Trieste, you simply have a great time!
I arrived for the third time already knowing I was making a safe choice, and I am leaving even more convinced that I chose well, especially because this time I was able to share this experience with my partner.
Truly, congratulations to the whole family and the entire staff for what you manage to give your guests.

We had a brief stop here, a nice hotel with friendly staff. We enjoyed a nice 15 minute walk up into the town centre and had a good wander round and some food and drinks, nicely located on the edge of the town. We didn’t eat at the hotel but it looked very nice.

Excellent pizza.
I got takeout pizza from this pizzeria and I must say that it is truly excellent. Thick crust, quality toppings......it melted in my mouth. I have tried many pizzas, but this one is truly exceptional. Naturally wood-fired.

A holiday on the edge of comfort and relaxation
We spent 9 days at Hotel Trieste and it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is well located, very close to the center of Tarvisio and has its own parking behind the structure.
This allows you to take a walk in the center, on foot, enjoying the main streets of Tarvisio that host various shops and clubs, as well as the famous Covered Market.
The structure is well maintained, offers a large common relaxation room, a small SPA and a beautiful restaurant room, where you can eat excellent dishes of both meat and fish, as well as an excellent Neapolitan pizza.
Donato was able to manage the gastronomic choices of the restaurant, integrating the dishes of the local tradition with the flavors of Neapolitan cuisine. Whatever we chose, when we had meals in the hotel, we were always satisfied. From Frico to spaghetti with clams and bottarga, from pizza to goulash and from strudel to babbà it was all a pleasant journey into flavors. Breakfast was always varied and plentiful, with a wide choice of sweet and savory.
The cozy and spacious room, furnished in a simple but tasteful way, is equipped with all comforts: en suite bathroom, comfortable beds, mini fridge, LED TV, wi-fi, telephone, kettle with tea and herbal teas, adjustable lights and sockets on the bedside tables. In the bathroom the shower is spacious, there is a hairdryer and everything you need, including a mini beauty kit and shower caps. The attention and care with which Maria Luisa and Donato welcome their guests, to make them feel at ease, is from perfect hosts. For this is for all the good advice received during our stay, to go to discover the area, we thank them dearly. We also thank all their collaborators who with great professionalism and kindness have allowed us to spend a pleasant stay in a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment.
